Ive brought both my Daughter and Son here for almost two years. I loved bringing my children here until I received a letter in the mail stating I havent showed up for both their well child exams??. I called to fix this statement when a girl named "Nicole answered. After being put on hold I tried explaining my situation and to clarify both my kids have been to their check ups , my Daughter has been to childrens Hospital every week since her last check up. Nicole hung up on me multiple times, stating I was being rude?. I was very polite until I got hung up on twice! Who wouldnt be upset with this? The third time I called back, and I did yell to speak to someone who will simply not hang up. I then spoke to a very polite woman who took down my notes, listened to my situation and tried to fix this problem for me. This is how a worker should be. I thanked her grately. Im now waiting to hear back from Dr. Shlafer , this will determine if I continue to take my children here. Very dissapointed that someone who works in this department decided to hang up on me several times or feel she didnt need to speak with me anymore. Someone like you should be fired! You work for children not yourself. Being a receptionist requires you to still have a nice and respectful attitude, thanks.

Im very surprised by the negative review. You are describing a very different Doctor Shlafer that my family has known and trusted for 17 years. He goes above and beyond to give his patients the very best care, even if that means referring you to a specialist if he thinks something is out of his scope. My daughter has an extremely rare disease... Doctor Shlafer has made a point to put us in touch with other doctors around the county. Hes done research and made phone calls after hours on his own time. As parents, it is our job to take responsibility for our own children.... Get second opinions, contact specialist or go to the ER in an Emergency situation. I would recommend Dr. Shlafer to anyone. I value his opinion and I know for a fact that he always does what is in the best interest of the child.

I loved Dr Shlafer since he used to be with Edmonds Pediatic Clinic over by Stevens (Swedish) Hospital. My first introduction was watching him sing to an infant in the waiting room and from that point on, I switched providers and not only did my daughter go to him but my grandkids and I even turned my neighbors grandkids onto Dr Shlafer. He is the best. He loves kids and he is so easy to talk to when it comes to your kids. I never will forget his definition of ADHD kids, "future coffee drinkers." He refused to dole out drugs for ADD and ADHD just because a teacher suggested the kids had that issue. He is and always will be my #1 pediatric physician. Too bad that my daughter is now 21, otherwise, she would still be with him.

Very unprofessional office. My son was there for his 6-months checkup and got a few shots. We decided not to go back to this office because dr. did not even spend more than 20 minutes during our visit. That was our very first visit. When we brought our son to his old office for his 9 months checkup, the nurse can not pull up any history in the state data base for the shots hes got done at Northsound. Of course we had to call them up and let them know and apparently they had no idea. This is unacceptable as running a medical professional office.

I dont think I could take my kids anywhere else. I absolutely love Dr. Shlafer and his staff, so do my kids. Im usually in and out within the hour. They have tons of books and toys for the kids as well. I love that he is the only Dr. that they see. It definitely makes it easier on the parents so you dont have to continually give the same story to a different doctor everytime. Dr. Shlafer is amazing with the kids and always knows how to get them to smile. I recommend him to everyone I know in the area that is looking for a good pediatric doctor.

Absolutely LOVE Dr.Shlaffer. He is in it for all the right reasons. More doctors need to take a page out of his book and remember what they are there for... the patients not the money! He leaves his number on the voice-mail for after hours emergencies that do not require 911. He diagnosed my infant with RSV by listening to her cough over the phone in the middle of the night. He has taken impeccable care of my 3 children and I recommend him to all my friends and family.

Dr Shlafer is great, hes been our doctor for coming up on 10 years, through 4 kids. Hes always attentive, always good for a laugh. The best part is hes always looking out for our kids health... If one has an appointment and another one or two or all three tags along, they all get their ears or throat or whatever checked... Just in case. Highly recommend Dr Shlafer.

Staffs were friendly. Doctor was friendly too but thats about it. He spent no more than 10 minutes on our very first visit. Had a lot of patients scheduled at the same time so hes been in and out the room a lot. And he talks super fast which very difficult to understand. Will NOT be bring my son back for his 9-months check up.

My girls love him and his office and Im very happy with the care that he gives them. He has been absolutely outstanding and has earned my business for life.

Dr Shlafer has recommended us the best referrals with the very best drs. Always the best care and quality advise for our 3 kids. He is never wasteful of time or cate and is really practical. Even when we didnt have insurance, his office charged us fairly. We love his health care

I can always get same day appointments. The staff is very friendly. The fixture knows my kids and does not force shots. Only gives shitd when kids are healthy. I would recommend this office to everyone!

Doctor takes a long time to see patients and checks all patients at the same time. Also doesnt spend very long with patients. (Only saw my infant for 2 minutes) not to mention we waited an hour.
