My 18 month old chipped fell and chipped his front tooth and a friend recommended we go to Northstar to see Dr. Sara. Our experience was wonderful from the moment I got on the phone with the receptionist (I wish I remembered her name!). She was so articulate and warm on the phone, and I felt listened to and valued. I called first thing in the morning and we were able to get him an appointment the same day. When we arrived they had a balloon for him already blown up and the waiting area was clean and had plenty of toys to keep kiddos busy. It hardly felt like a dentist office at all. Both the receptionist and Dr. Sara introduced themselves to my little guy and were so friendly to him. They clearly know how to work with little ones. When we went back to the exam room, it was welcoming with bright colors and windows. Dr. Sara was great as she examined his mouth and made part of it into a game, but was at the same time very thorough. My son hardly made a fuss. Dr. Sara took her time explaining our course of action with his teeth and calmed any fears that I had. You can tell that she is very well educated and trained. On our way out they handed us a little bag with some tooth care goodies in it, made a follow up appointment and sent us on our way. As a Mom, it meant so much to me that my sons first experience at the dentist was positive. I can certainly say that of Dr. Sara and her team. 5 stars all the way!

After reading the reviews on this place i was really looking forward to coming to North Star Pediatrics. My 4 year old son and 7 years old daughter needed a regular check up. After my sons check up she brought up the fact there are some cavities that are very serious and needed attention rate away. She suggested to put my 4 year old under to do the work and when i asked for other ways to deal with the situation because i was not about to put my son under anesthesia, she down played everything. Then of coarse she had a anesthesiologist she suggested to use which cost 1300( which is not covered by insurance). After reading the bill and her suggested plan for my kids i realized she was trying to do a ton of work that wasnt needed. When i went to an other dentist to get a second opinion they would not send over the x-rays even after they said they would. So now my kids need to get x-rays again. Very Sad to see a "KIDS Dentist" Only looking after there own pocket and what is easy for them instead of whats is BEST FOR THE CHILD

Both of my kids go see Dr. Sara and we have loved the experience! Both of them love the environment they have created there and I love all of the staff. My youngest has oral sensory issues and Dr. Sara is very patient with her and takes a lot of time to make sure she feels comfortable. She is also upbeat and positive, which is key for my youngest to warm up to people. Dr. Sara obviously cares about her patients and is invested in not just their dental health, but their overall well being. I highly recommend her to anyone!

I took my boys here today. What a great experience. I wish I had a dentist like Dr. Sarah when I was a kid! I cannot recommend this practice enough. Amazing dentist and assistants, and a super friendly, warm, and entertaining-for-the-kids office. I have one super easy kid and another with speech delay who is a lot more difficult to work with and they handled both personalities so perfect by being gentle, effective, and just amazing with children. Dr. Sarah will be our pediatric dentist for as long as my boys are kids.

This place is amazing! First of all the office is so beautiful and welcoming. You walk in and feel like you want to stay and hang out. Dr: Silvestri and the staff is so wonderful and made my three kids feel so comfortable. I loved that as a parent I could sit comfortably in the lroom and be able to watch both of my daughters get their teeth cleaned at the same time. We all left with big smiles and the kids asked when they could go again...even after one got a filling! I have only great things to say about this place.

The whole place is a pleasant dentist experience I happily continue to take my daughter to, and will take my son when he is old enough. We even moved a little further away but the extra travel is worth it. When I say experience, I mean it. Corny as it may be I feel lucky to have found a dentist and team so nice and knowledgable. If you want your child to feel safe and happy and enjoy seeing a dentist when its usually dreaded, this place makes your kid want to keep coming back.

I literally could never say enough nice things about the NSPD office. They are so kind and welcoming. Their office is so tastefully decorated, but still very welcoming to children. They are personable and remember you and your children after just one visit! The entire team is beyond amazing. I have recommended a number of friends here and the time and attention that they take to all of them is exactly what I would have expected!

I could not be happier with Dr. Sara and all of her staff. They are great with my daughter, who had her first appointment at 11 months. We never stress about her regular check ups. Dr. Sara also clipped her lip tie, and it was a great experience. She was in and out for the procedure in under 5 minutes, and didnt seem to be phased at all. I would highly recommend Dr. Sara for routine care and for lip/tongue tie procedures.

Dr Sara and staff were absolutely amazing with me and my 10 month old baby girl! They made sure to tell me I was doing everything great but also informed me of new prevention tips and techniques that work for a 1 year old! (Almost) I loved the office and how the staff treated me like family! I will definitely be returning here and telling all of my new mommy friends about it when the time comes they need a dentist!

I take both of my young kids here and they both love it. The staff is so friendly and great at what they do. They can make my squirmy 3 year old sit still for his entire cleaning and hes already looking forward to going back. The girls who work there and Dr. Sara are incredible and the office is decorated perfectly for kids. I highly recommend North Star. Weve been really impressed!

This is by far one of my favorite pediatric dentist office. I have been to my share of them with my three kids. Everyone is so kind, nice and patient. Dr takes her time explaining everything and makes sure the parents feel comfortable with her plans. The facility is very nicely decorated and perfect for little kids. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I would rate North Star ten stars if I could! We loved Dr. Sara and her staff. Mary Ann, Jessica, and Emily were nothing short of amazing! The whole experience makes you feel right at home. I couldnt have asked for a better dental office for my kids. If you are a military family or just looking for a great pediatric dentist, North Star is the place to go!
