Im giving this place a 1. Had a appointment for my daughters first dentist appointment at 3 30p.m, being her first one you have to show up 15 minutes prior to the appointment time for paperwork, so 3 15p.m. Due to traffic we made it to her appointment time at 3 30p.m not the 15 minutes prior for the paperwork all to get turned away. Reason being is the paperwork needs to be filled out before going back, I dont see how 15 minutes is that crucial to where they couldnt push it forward or just brought her back while we filled out the paperwork. I took a hour off work to make it to this which was a waste, I stated she had union insurance so no matter what itd go through. The lady said sorry sir thatd policy. Anybody I run into and all family an friends I will tell them to steer clear from this place after that experience and costing me money and time all to get denied when we made it to the appointment at the original time and might I add she was the last patient of the day.

Amara went in for her first dentist appointment at one year old. When we called, they were friendly, knowledgable and we were able to get an appointment within a few days of calling. The website is very complete and nicely laid out, it had the new patient paperwork for me to fill out ahead of time, so Im not trying to wrangle a baby and pen/clip board. When we arrived, the waiting room was decorated in a cute forrest theme and had a separate waiting area for kids with a video game system and toys. The hygienist and Dr. Sakai were friendly and quick with the teeth brushing (which Amara doesnt like) and exam, but answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. They also showed me helpful techniques to use. I will absolutely continue to take Amara there for all her dentist appointments and needs :o)

I can not even begin to praise this dentist office enough. Our 6 year old has always been afraid (screaming to go in, not laying in the chair, kicked someone in the head to try to get away.. and had to be tied up.. it was horrible for all of us!!!). One trip to this office is all it took for him. When we first arrived the dental hygienist came and introduced herself to him and talked about what they were going to do. He walked back in the room with her without hesitation and for the FIRST time he got his teeth cleaned!!!!! He had to go back for two cavities to be filled and he was a rock star again!!! Like I said... I can not praise them enough. Definitely a place to go with children. Thanks for reading, Michele

I would recommend this office for all family with younger ones. The office has a warm fuzzy welcome, the kids loved the play area with the Wii while waiting to be seen. The back of the office staff was more than helpful with my 3 kids (ages 6,4,3) they made them feel comfortable, talked them through everything they were doing and showed them everything they were putting in their mouths, calmed my little one down by talking about things he might have liked to get his mind in a different place. Highly organized and worked as a team to get us out as fast as possible! I have never felt more comfortable and taken care of at a dentist office! Thank you Kevin H. Sakai and your team!

Wow, what a breath of fresh air. My daughter is 11 and unfortunately we have had a few dentists that we would not go back to. Just for Kids Dentistry has a fun decor, very very clean and family orientated. Staff was unbelievably friendly, talked to the kids with such compassion & offer a sense of security we have been looking for in Dentists. Appointments were easy to get, flexible times to work with your schedule and urgency when your child has a problem tooth. We are a customer for life, I will refer every friend and coworker that has children. Way to Go Dr. Sakai and your team...you have renewed my faith in Dentists and allowed my daughter to feel welcome and safe!!!

I took my 2 year old daughter here for her first Dentist appt. When I called to make the appt they were able to get me in next day which was great. When we got there the wait time was short. They were very kid friendly when explaining all the different tools they were going to use in her mouth. After the cleaning was done they gave my daughter a token and told her it was "prize time" and she got to pick out a prize from a gumball like machine. (she picked the necklace) The office was very nicely set up and clean. Everything was explained in full and overall was great. We will be going back in 6 months for her next check-up.

Just For Kids Dentistry was recommended to us from my daughters Orthodontic staff. I have a 13 year old and 15 year old. Both of my kids loved their experiences here. The staff made their appointments enjoyable! Wait, what??? Yes, thats right. Both kids came out from their appointments saying it was fun. The staff really know how to put kids at ease and turn something most people dread into something enjoyable. My daughter needs to have teeth pulled in a couple weeks, and she isnt worried about it. She has complete confidence in the staff and what will be done. Thank you Just For Kids Dentistry!!!

This was my sons dentist not too long ago. I breastfeed him and I was seeing signs of decay (possibly from night feedings when I cant properly clean his teeth) when I originally asked about it the dr told me not to worry. Well about 4 months later I see tiny holes in his teeth! I go in and he says they need caps immediately and that its considered surgery so he will be under anesthesia and intubated! I decided to get a second opinion and turns out all he needed were a couple of fillings. Always get a second opinion! Unnecessary dental work is so harmful.

Took my super shy 20 month old to see them today, and it was AMAZING!!! She did so well with the staff, and the Dr. All of my worries vanished when I walked in the door, they had toys out and a movie playing, she immediately warmed up being in such a kid friendly setting. I was so proud of her when I saw her playing catch with the dental assistant. She even let them brush and floss her teeth! She left happy and excited! I never thought her first dental experience would be so great!

I have always had a great experience at this office, Dr. Sakai has been my sons dentist for several years and I think he is great with all the kids. The office is very clean, plenty to do for the kids in the waiting room, and the front desk staff has never been nothing but polite and reassuring to me and my son. Im certainly glad they are closer to me now in Puyallup and I would and have recommended my friends and family to this office.

So proud of Logan for going to the dentist today! He got his teeth cleaned and took X-rays with no issue! He said "It didnt even hurt!" No cavities either! I have to sing the praises of Just 4 Kids Dentistry in Puyallup, they were amazing with a frightened kiddo and were super patient and nice to him. It helped him to not be scared. If youre looking for a kids dentistry place, I would give them 2 VERY enthusiastic thumbs up!
