Dr. McKay is not just a dentist, he is an artist. The teeth he made for me are beautiful, but more than that, they look completely natural, not like cookie-cutter images of each other. My dentures, which snap into eight implants, are not just nice to look at. They are very comfortable and fit extremely well. I had issues that Dr. McKay had to overcome; my upper jaw bone and the roof of my mouth presented challenges for him. He really worked at creating functional, comfortable and beautiful teeth for me, and did a remarkable job. Dr. McKay, as well as his entire staff, is extremely attentive. He listens to your concerns, addresses your needs, and works to ensure that you are comfortable with his planned course of treatment. He answers questions thoroughly, making sure you understand his answers and providing additional information. He takes time. His staff does, too, always making sure that you are well cared for. I also have to give Dr. McKay big props for patience. After missing a few appointments, and not even calling to say I wouldnt be there, he still agreed to see me, which many dentists and doctors wont do. Dr. McKay does quality work. He spends as much time with you as you need him to. His staff is very accommodating yet unobtrusive. His office, exam rooms and restroom are always clean and neat. He goes out of his way to ensure that you are comfortable with every aspect of his care. I have no reservations about giving his practice a five-star rating.

All I can say about the entire team is... simply the best. I had major restoration work done recently and the first thing that impressed me the most was that they cared more about getting my mouth and gums healthy before any of the restorative work could begin (that has not been the case with other dentists I have been to in the past ...it was more about the $$). Working with Cris Duval (who is more like your personal health coach) we got my mouth in great shape health-wise so I could begin the restorative process. Cris really cares about you as a person (as does the entire team), but I have never had a hygenist (shes much more than that!) as effective as Cris. Dr. McKay is more like an artist with teeth ...hes obviously a wonderful dentist, but a true perfectionist when it comes to making sure everything is right. I have constant compliments now about my smile ...people are always telling me what beautiful teeth I have (and they did not look like that prior to working with Dr. McKay), and that creates a great feeling of confidence. I feel incredible and have much more confidence now that I have worked with this wonderful team. Misti, Cathy, and the entire office group are professional, friendly, helpful, and make you feel that you are the most important client ...a great combination to have in a dental expeirence! You wont find a better dentist team to work with in Seattle.

Dr. McKay and his team at ACLD are the best at their practice and will make you feel welcomed the moment you call to schedule an appointment. Dr. McKay is the dentists dentist and you can be confident that you will receive the most advanced dental treatment and care available. True story - A couple of years ago I moved out of the Seattle area and reluctantly tried finding another dentist closer to my home. Upon my arrival at the new dentist office, I informed the dentist that I had been a patient of Dr. McKay. Well for the first 15 minutes of that cleaning appointment, I heard nothing but praise and admiration from that dentist about Dr. McKay and how he read all of Dr. McKays books and attended his seminars on dentistry. That experience was all the convincing I needed to travel the extra miles from Tacoma to Seattle and return to ACLD. If you are looking for a dentist that truly cares about your oral health and can make your smile amazingly bright, Dr. McKay and his team at ACLD is without question your number one choice.

Ive been a customer of ACLD for the past year (and continuing) and every visit has been wonderful. The staff is very professional and welcome you with a smile as if you are their only patient. I think what separates this dental clinic from others is the experienced staff who can give you the best recommendation to solve any of your dental concerns. Dr. McKay is a nice and very funny guy; he is always ready to give you a good joke to loosen the situation so that you feel more comfortable in your surroundings. I will also add that all of the dental assistants are very knowledgeable, handle each patient with careful attention, and can answer any questions or requests you might have. Another thing that I appreciate is that the staff doesnt take an official lunch break, so they actually work throughout the day which makes it easier for me to schedule appointments. Again, ACLD always puts their patients first and their customer service is well above any other dental clinic I have been to in the Seattle area!

I spent years with a mouthful of ugly and missing teeth due to lack of calcium and just poor dental care. I wouldnt open my mouth to smile for fear people would see my teeth. I was so embarrassed and ashamed. One day I finally realized I needed to do something and thats when I made an appointment with Dr. McKay. It was a turning point in my life. The care I received from the staff and Dr. McKay was fantastic! There was not a moment where I felt scared or nervous or in any pain, it was like being with family that care about you. Now I smile all the time. I cant thank the staff and Dr. McKay enough for giving me back my life. Today I talk so much you cant shut me up and Im smiling at everyone, I would never have been able to do that had I not picked up the phone and called ACLD, I no longer have to hide behind a mask, I love to smile now! Thank you Dr. McKay and all of the staff there , Youre the Best!!!!!!!

Cris Duval is the worlds best dental hygenist. I once heard Oprah ask Dr. Oz what was the single most important way you could improve your health and increase life expectancy. His answer was surprising to me. It was simply to floss. Since hearing this I have done a little research. Your mouth is the gateway to your health. Keep it healthy and you will likely stay healthy. Cris checks my mouth for both oral cancer and HPV cancer. Yes, they are now two tests that only take seconds. She knows more about how to keep your tissues healthy than practically anyone else. She publishes papers on this subject. Even though I live in Austin, TX, I travel to Seattle twice per year to see her. She is simply the best and so is Dr. McKay who created my beautiful smile over 10 years ago. They are absolutely my secret weapon for a longer, healthier life!
