My family (3 kids) has been going to Dr Lauinger for 6+ years. We recently missed our appointment. A first for us without giving prior notification. We were informed we would have a fee to pay, which I understand with their policies as a business. I called within 2 hours of the missed appt asking what we could do to remedy the situation. I was told if we did not show up 10minutes early for the next appointment we would be no longer welcome. I was surprised at this response, as we have not missed any prior, and have always been good paying clients. I felt this was not a reasonable response given that at the previous visit; my husband and myself were left waiting in the room for excess of 20-30 minutes, and prior to that 15 in the waiting room. I was late picking up my preschooler and my husband almost missed a meeting. We have decide that while I can respect a professionals need to make money, I do not have respect for a professional who finds their time of greater value than their clients and chooses to emphasis this in the response stated above. I am not one to post, but we have had several experiences of them running behind in previous visits, and unreturned calls by the assistant. Disappointed at the lack of value for our service, and lack of connection to their core clientele, which is families and children.

We have been going to Dr. Lauinger for 4 1/2 years with our 3 young children and we love her! We live in Maple Valley and I often wish we went to a closer pediatrician but every time I go I love her so much that I decide not to switch. I have also liked every other doctor we have seen at that practice.
