You would think a small neighborhood shop would provide great customer service. Afterall, why would anyone go to an overpriced store with only a tiny selection of frames otherwise? Unfortunately, Eyewear Gallery disappoints. At this shop service is hit or miss. When its a miss, they are completely unapologetic and could care less what customers think. When I went in to buy my glasses, the shop keeper was attentive but kept getting distracted by calls and our customers coming in. That was fine as I was browsing frames and the distractions just gave me time to find and try more frames but still inappropriate given the fact that I was in and out pretty quickly. When I went back to pick up my glasses, the glasses were ready but again the shopkeeper kept taking calls and addressing other customers who came into the shop. He kept taking calls even when we were trying to figure out the problems with my eyewear, which had problems because they actually caused my eyes to strain vs. relax. After 20 minutes of waiting, yes, 20 minutes!!!, I had to walk out. I asked for a full refund, and Mathew agreed. Haha, Mathew must have thought, Ill show him...I will refunding him only 75% and keep 25% in my pocket. "THEIF!," I said and am now trying to get my full refund. What a joke this place is. Hire more staff, and next time make sure they have integrity.

The owner Kathy always takes care of me, fixes small issues for free or next to nothing, really great selection of Italian,French, US designer frames as well. Reasonable prices and some frames are on sale each month. Super friendly, she and her stuff spends half hour or more with you to make sure you have the right design and lenses (i like Transitions lenses myself) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

They overcharge. My insurance covers a basic exam at most places but here they charged more than insurance covers.
