Dr. Wightman might just be the finest oral surgeon in the Puget Sound area. Heres my story: Last year, I was bit on my lip by a ferocious beast (well, actually, it was my 12-pound dog). The wound was fairly deep and ran perpendicular to the upper line of my lip. (I would include a picture but it was gross and I dont want my fellow Google searchers to hurl all over their keyboards.) Initially, I was going to go to the emergency room to have it stitched up, but on a whim, I gave Dr. Wightman a call---this was on a Saturday, by the way. Dr. Wightman agreed to see me right away. We met over at his clinic and he proceeded to stitched me up. (Did I mention this was on a Saturday?) That may not sound like much, however, I came to find out that closing a cut that bisects a lip line is notoriously easy to mess up (from a cosmetic standpoint). If you dont get the wound to close just right, it can make your lip line look uneven or maybe worse, exacerbate the scar that is left over. He did such a good job that the scar is barely noticeable. (Its kind of a thin white line now.) Looking back, Im actually conflicted about going to Dr. Wightman because he might have been TOO good. I mean, sure, I wanted the wound to be stitched up, but not so well that nobody can tell I have a cool scar. So, I guess I recommend Dr. Wightman if you want an elite surgeon who is so good that it seems like you never had surgery to begin with. If youre interested in an oral surgeon who leaves gnarly (but-maybe-kind-of-cool) scars after he or she is done, then dont go to Dr. Wightman. Oh, and as for wisdom teeth...well, needless to say hes a medical ninja at extracting peoples wisdom teeth. If I had to get some teeth yanked, Id go to him for sure. (The hack that I had do mine when I was 18 left me looking like a chipmunk with a winter stash of food in my cheeks for a month.) So, to sum it up -- if you need some surgery on your mouth or face area, go to Dr. Wightman.

I recently had a biopsy and Im glad my dentist referred me to Dr Wightman for the procedure. From the initial consultation to receiving my results - three seperate office visits - I was treated with kindness and professionalism by the entire staff. The billing department was courteous and accessible from the beginning. They answered every question I had, and helped me understand and use my dental insurance. The medical staff turned a nerve wracking experience into a routine medical procedure, performed in one of the most pleasant spaces Ive ever been. The exam room was just as comfortable as the waiting room, for a minute I thought I was getting Botox or a peel. I work with kids with cognative delays and other members of our special needs community. Most people take for granted how much of a privilege access to quality medical care is, especially seeing a dentist. Dr Wightman and staff are excellent examples of what everyone should experience if they ever needed medical care. Thank you.

Sweet, sweet, sweet people at this business. From the first time I called them to me leaving the building. I went in thinking I was going to pay a few thousand dollars for 3 wisdom teeth to be removed. They definitely need to be removed. I went in for what I thought was my wisdom teeth hurting but it seems that its a different problem. Dr. Wightman suggested that I get the other problem that is causing me pain taken care of before I use his services. For someone who has a business that tells you to get your pain taken care of before using him tells you a lot about how this man practices. I will be going back to have my wisdom teeth removed by him...definitely! He did a great job and was honest with me. Thank you Dr. Wighman and sweet staff. Highly recommend!

This place is great, Im actually surprised there isnt more reviews. Today I had my wisdom teeth extracted and I guess saying it was a great experience might be strange considering the circumstances, but it. really was great lol. The office is beautiful, calming and very clean. Whoever decorated has great taste! The coffee bar and fireplace are a great touch! They have excellent customer service throughout the office. Dr Whitman and his assistants have great bed side manner as well. They are very gentle and you can tell that they love what they do! They even called to check on me after my surgery. Id definitely recommend this office if your looking for an oral surgeon.

I am very happy I went to evergreen oral surgery to have my wisdom teeth extracted. Everyone was very friendly, caring and professional through out the whole experince. From the initial consultation where everything was explained in detail to the day of surgery. I also liked that they sedated me for the whole procedure. I was very happy with the aftercare I received after surgery, they called me a couple of days after my surgery to see how I was doing. Dr. Wightman and his staff always reassured me with their knowledge and professionalism.Thank you !

If I could give 6 stars, I would. Evergreen Oral Surgery was able to see me on very short notice and totally exceeded my expectations. Every single staff member went out of their way to make sure the experience for this VERY ANXIOUS patient (having four teeth pulled!) was as pleasant and painless as possible. I cannot recommend Dr. Wightman and his staff more highly! Beautiful, clean office, incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, and a gentle, knowledgeable doctor... What more could you ask for? I had the best experience ever with Dr. Wightman the dentist/oral surgeon. The staff was very polite at the front desk as well as the back office staff. They explained everything in great detail and made me feel really comfortable. After my surgery they called to follow up with how I was doing. I had a concern and they got me in that same day. I would recommend this place yo everyone I know. If I need any kind of work done this will be the place I go without any hesitation.

I Highly recommend the evergreen team!! I had a very serious surgery done by Dr. Wightman and he is a real class act miracle worker. I needed upper jaw surgery. My upper jaw needed to be moved forward 7mm and he did an outstanding job. All my teeth align and my bite is perfect. Its been 5 months and it still healing but I feel that everyday its getting better and better and I am really happy with the results. Wouldnt think twice about coming here.

My son had surgery a week ago. No pain. They were awesome. I was more worried than he was. Not only is the dental team great, but so is the front office. My other son had dental surgery at another provider locally and while that dentist was great his front office was not. I wont ever go there again. This office came highly recommended from my orthodontists office, Dr. Weller. I am so glad I listened.

I just went in to have 3 wisdom teeth removed as well as a broken/infected one yesterday. Him and his staff made me feel so comfortable I dont even know why I was nervous in the first place. I was in and out and I already feel much better than expected with very little swelling. I would definitely recommend him!!
