Took my Son yesterday for a simple Blood test and to request an updated adult Autism Test. We spent an hour on the phone preregistering, another 20 minutes in office filling out papers and then 5 minutes talking to a nurse while in the patient room before being left alone. 30 minutes later a man walks in, Crosses his arms , leans against the counter by the door and says :WHY Are You Here Today..... WTF!? First off - That is NO WAY to walk into a room with new patients. NEVER even said Hi or Im Dr. so-and-so - Nothing! I was NOT impressed from the start. Then to be condescending to me and treating me like I was there to steal pain killers or something - HE TRIGGERED MY PTSD and anxiety disorder by treating me as such and I had a full out panic attack that he did NOTHING to try and stop - just made it worse by accusing ME of being argumentative and interrupting his questions -WHICH HE NEVER ASKED! The ONLY question he asked is "What are you going to do with the information" - Umm What the Hell do you mean what am I going to do - My son is an Adult with AUTISM what the hell do you think I am going to do - I am Appalled by the way I was treated and by the GOD Complex the Doctor (I think he was a Doctor) we saw had. The most UNPROFESSIONAL RUDE SHAMEFUL Healthcare SCAM I have ever seen. Call your insurance company and demand a NEW PROVIDER - This Strip Mall Hell Hole is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wouldnt even Give it ONE START but I cant post with out it! DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE! I would rather go to the Free Clinic in the future then ever step foot near this place again. I also Filed a Grievance against this place with my Insurance company - I suggest you all do the same or these places will be allowed to continue running and scamming people out of REAL healthcare and getting paid out by our insurance companies regardless of the quality of care they are NOT providing.

Dr. Rose came to my first appointment because Im trans and I felt like he was there to gawk at me. He told me that surgery wasnt available to me when it was, he claimed to be an expert in trans Healthcare but knew nothing of the ethics of withholding medically indicated care from trans people and how doing so can increase suicide rates and other harmful things. I kept calling the clinic to try and convey what happened and they suggested I have a meeting with my provider and Dr. Rose. The meeting was with Dr. Rose was set up, there was a month gap so I worked on a 10 page presentation to deliver. When the day came, I was walking up to the clinic and Dr. Rose was actually driving out of the parking lot. I was very frustrated at this point and I went inside to tell them what was happening. The receptionists kept indicating that they thought I was making up the whole story because "Dr. Rose doesnt see patients here." They seemed to not be able to understand that I was there for a meeting, not direct medical services. They just wouldnt listen to me at all. Then a nurse came and brought me to the back and they kept on not listening and I kept on getting more frustrated with the situation and had a panic attack at which point they told me they could deny me service, the nurse tried blocking the door when I walked out and I simply said that I wanted to leave, to please let me leave and she begrudgingly let me pass and I walked out. Ive only been back to that clinic to be seen once since last summer. The provider I have seems nice and caring but restrained by her oppressive and unethical boss, the owner of the clinic. I think Id prefer to not go there any more but there arent really doctors in Vancouver who treat trans people like people.

That was the WORST office Ive EVER been too. EVERY time Ive had to go there they are insulting and unhelpful. The first time I went there was because my 3 month old baby kept having blood in her poop. They didnt even examine her, didnt let me talk at all without interupting and being insulting. THEN today I went in because Ive lost 26 pounds in just over 3 weeks unintentionally and ive been really weak, exhausted, passing out and losing my hair. The nurse practitioner thats like 90 years old told me with how obese I am I should be glad something might be wrong because I am so huge. Im a size 18 at biggest. Yeah I am bigger but Im also 5 8". Really about average for around here. Plus Ive had 2 babies. THEN she didnt want to take any labs or anything because she thinks Im fine.... Ok I can understand that slightly, but then she said I might have prediabetes because of how big I am......... People... Im really not that big. Then I got angry so she said she would take blood for some simple tests and as she walked out she said "I bet youd like that wouldnt you, we will drain you dry"........ It took a 45 minute wait to get in to see her and I even had an appointment. I made a point to tell her I was really concerned and she just kept treating me like garbage. Literally like I was the scumb of the earth and like I didnt deserve to have care. How does this place still get funding!?!?!?! Zero compassion yet decides to work with the public clearly just to be able to insult people when they are vulnerable and sick. What a horrible clinic. PLEASE GET CARE SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I applaud this place for wanting to serve an under-served part of the community, but I do not suggest going here. First of all, they canceled one of my appointments.. they called me 15 minutes before the appointment to inform me. I had just driven 40 minutes and arrived 15 minutes early like I was advised to do, only to receive the call as I was walking into the clinic. Secondly, at my daughters appointment she was being weighed in the hallway.. we could over-hear staff in the lunch/breakroom making very racist comments about Philippine people. They did not seem to care that the door was open or that patients were able to hear. They just continued making their derogatory remarks. Thirdly, the "DR" or "nurse" or whoever was seeing my daughter at her appointment was extremely demeaning. She questioned why I make my daughter drink water, as if it is a bad thing and even suggested that I allow my daughter to pick out her own food instead of having family meals. After all her insults towards me trying to raise my daughter as healthy as I can she stated that my daughter was extremely healthy. Talk about making no sense. Ugh. Not the kind of care I expect.

This place is the worst and needs to be shut down! 1. Their exam rooms are carpeted 2. Their exam rooms dont even have a handwashing sink. 3. They checked another patient into my room while I was in the bathroom, even though my clothes and purse was sitting on the exam table, and then made me wait in the hallway while they found another room, instead of moving the woman who still had her clothes on. 4. Upon checkout, they gave me my medical records and summary of my visit, but when I got home, I realized I had someone elses personal file and they had given mine to the other woman. So, some stranger had all of my personal information and was able to steal my identity. 5. You wont ever be seen by an actual doctor. Only nurses with the minimal required accreditation. Youre more likely to contract something than be cured of anything if you go here.
