I had been fighting with multiple with chronic issues and symptoms for years. Nothing any of my care providers tried seemed to have any lasting effect. Then I lost my health insurance and I went without any health care for quite a while… When I discovered Vantage Physicians, they were offering access to reasonably priced basic medical coverage. I pounced… In my first visit, Dr. Kershisnik suspected something that had never been touched on before; the possibility that I was a diabetic. A simple blood test and some other lab work quickly confirmed that I had type II Diabetes. She was direct and to the point in explaining what it meant to be diabetic and how it may (or may not) affect the rest of my life. With the advice and care provided by Vantage Physicians, my blood sugar is completely under control and I eat a ‘semi-normal’ diet. In addition, (under the care of Dr. Kershisnik) we have eliminated many of my former “issues” and have the rest under control. I recently got back to the point where I could get health insurance through my employer. We considered finding a doctor that took our Blue Cross coverage, but we’ve elected to stay with Vantage Physicians because the quality of care is as good or better than any I’ve received up ‘till now and the membership at Vantage Physicians is about the same as going to a modest number of Dr visits.

Absolutely wonderful care and thoughtful staff all around. From the office and lab staff to the physicians. Ive been with Dr. Samantha Ritchie since 2011 and she cares about each individual as if theyre her family. She goes to Haiti every year with Friends of Haiti and provides care for those in disastrous conditions. Shes literally saved my life. Shes never hurried- as she takes the time to hear your problems and feelings. Ive never felt judged no matter what is going on. Theyve got a call service as well and Dr. Kirshiznic has taken my calls multiple times when Dr. Ritchie is out of the office. Shes incredibly thoughtful and sweet. They have always called me back immediately and will go out of their way to help in whatever way they can. When I initially called Dr. Ritchies practice to get an appt, it was on a Sunday afternoon. I left a message. There was a waiting list to see her. She got me in anyway, saw me immediately, and I recommend her to anyone looking for a family doctor with a personal touch (and I do, all the time)!

I am so grateful for Dr. Kershisnik at Vantage for her necessary, thorough and considerate treatment. I feel like a person when I see her instead of just another patient. Thank you Dr. K for being a competent and caring doctor and for making my daily life manageable.
