I have had migraines for 7+ years. I have tried almost everything to get rid of them and have spent thousands of dollars trying to get rid of them. I decided to try Yelm Chiropractic and Wellness Canter! I figured i was wasting money on everything else and it wasnt working might as well waste it on something i havent tried yet. My first appointment Dr. Wan asked me if he was a magic Genie and could grant me one wish what would it be. I thought for a 2nd and said that i wish my migraines were just headaches. (My migraines were so bad i would have been very happy with them just being headaches, it was also hard to wish for something so unrealistic.) He was shocked by my answer and said I can get rid of your migraines. Man the thoughts going through my head. I thought he was crazy and i knew he couldnt make them go away all together. But i was a interested in the idea of not having them. So I went along with it and came back for my first adjustment. I was sore after but went back again and was getting better. I am 2 and a half weeks into my treatment plan and sooooooo EXCITED to say I am already migraine FREE!!!!!!! Some added bonuses are my allergies arent as bad as they were in the past and my energy is higher!!! If you look up what a chiropractor is you will find "a practitioner of the system of complementary medicine based on the diagnosis and manipulative treatment of misalignments of the joints." However if you ask me what it is I will say "Its the one who gave me my life back" They are so welcoming and caring at Yelm Chiropractic & Wellness Center! How many doctors or medical staff have you been to that gives you a letter saying welcome to the family and tells you they will fix your problem? Well Yelm Chiropractic & Wellness Center did, and thats just the little part of their amazingness! I am so lucky and thankful to have Dr. Wan as my Chiropractor!!!!

After an accident on an airplane where a large heavy container was directly dropped on the center of my head my C1 disc was jammed. It seemed like my head was sitting on my shoulders. As soon as I was hit I lost my vision, feeling in my hands and even my tongue. I felt like I always had something caught in my throat I also suffered tinnitus, migraines and it felt like my head weighed four times its size. I could move my neck but not at the very top near my head. It was so very scary to just be doing normal everyday activitys and suddenly lose feeling in both arms for long periods of time. The list of problems I suffered goes on, but Dr. Wan was able, after nearly a month of treatment to finally un-stick C1 (The very top cervical vertebrae) The vertebrae that everything our brain controls runs through. - A month! Thats how jammed it was. He worked patiently and Im so glad I kept going, confident he would get it fixed or at least give me some relief. Im happy to say, I can feel my hands and tongue again. Ive lost that lump in my throat and my head feels light, like someone took that boulder off the top of my head. I can turn my head again. Id like to thank the folks at "Yelm Chiropractic & Massage" especially Dr. Wan. I think you just might have saved my life! I was extremely depressed over my health. I had no where else to turn and if you find yourself in a situation like this, give these folks a try. I highly recommend them!

My husband and I were underwhelmed by Dr. Wan and his staff. There is no rigor to his practice, he does not work systematically, and apparently never thinks to request x-rays when his adjustments dont work. His response to the fact that he has not gotten any results that are positive over the last month, is to suggest that I, Kate, go elsewhere. My husband was wiser than I and bailed out right away, but I wanted to give him every chance, with the result I am now worse off than when I started with him. He does not hold a candle to Dr. Raymond Kent, whose practice he took over. And its always nice to be treated by a doctor who is never observed to wash his hands between patients. And whose secretary wanders around barefoot stuffing her face on the job and grooming herself behind the counter. Like I said, I tried and he "fired" me as a patient because he couldnt do the work. He takes so much time off that I get the impression he is already tired of being a chiropractor though hes really just getting started.

I started seeing Dr. Wan because I wanted an alternative to taking medications all the time from constantly getting sick. He put me on an adjustment plan and discussed with me how over time my immune system would be re strengthened. This time of year I always get sick but not this time, I feel 100%! Dr. Wan also took the time to discuss with me other health concerns I had thoroughly. He has a real genuine quality about him that shows his patients he truly cares about their health and well being. As for the rest of the staff, the receptionist is always smiling and makes me feel welcomed every time I come in, and how can I forget the adorable "office manager", he greets me at the door every time I come in and is always so happy to see me. Welcome to Yelm Dr. Wan and staff, Im glad youve decided to be a member of this great town!

Dr. Wan is the very best chiropractor I have ever been to. Since I was a teenager Ive had back problems because of multiple car wrecks. I was told by other chiropractors that I had a crooked spine because of these injuries and that I would always have pain. I have been to Dr Wan for about three years now. He helped me with back pain throughout my pregnancy. And now because of consistent visits I am living life without pain. Dr. Wan genuinely cares about each person he meets. My whole family goes to him now and our lives have been changed because of him. Thank you Dr. Wan you are changing lives in this community one person at a time.

If you are wanting releif the first time you go in forget it. He wont take the time to look at things and adjust you that day. He wants more money so makes you wait in pain until he can get you back in. If you are new forget about them going the extra mile. I asked to get my spouse in because of pain that was almost ER bad and I would give up my appointment. Forget it. No budging for anything. What a heart! The sad thing is I am not even sure the chiropractor knows. It might be all just his staff and if so he needs new ones! As far as him he is informative, but again I dont agree with his double appointments needed for treatment!

I started seeing Dr Wan about a year ago. I was in excruciating pain from bone spurs on my spine and degeneration. I also have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome on top of sjogrens syndrome which exacerbated the pain I was in. I am now nearly pain free and functioning like a normal person. He is an energetic friendly dr who really cares about his patients. He takes the time to talk to me to make sure Im still doing well and I just cant be more thankful to him for his help. I am not suffering anymore.
