Up until about a year and a half ago, I had nothing but good experiences with this dental office. The hygienists have always been very kind and knowledgeable. However, I sought out a new office last summer after my second encounter with Midwest Dentals new dentist, Dr. Robert Van Dyke. While I wont discredit his experience or knowledge, he had a terrible temperament on both occasions. He seemed seriously irritated and annoyed with having to be there, berated the hygienist, and talked down to me. I left the office upset after both appointments. Very few individuals look forward to going to the dentist, but it certainly helps to have a dentist who treats you and his or her staff with respect, kindness, and empathy.

Had billing errors 3-4 times with this Midwest office. The last time I was billed for a charge my insurance company already paid. My balance was zero. Several months later I get another bill with no explanation. The insurance company told me to have Midwest Dental call them. In the mean time I got another bill from Midwest demanding payment. I was going to go see the stupid billing woman when I got a call from them telling me they were in error and the bill was paid. No apology. Apparently the customer isnt always right with this company even if its proven so. There are a lot of new dental franchises out there. I would recommend one that treats the customer better.

I have nerve damage in my jaw area, so dentists are even more of a "pain" for me. Kathy has been great. I have been to many dentists, and none have taken the time to be sensitive to my damage. She always takes her time, and will check in with me on how the pain is going. I will not see another hygienist as she has been great and understanding. If I say I havent been flossing much, she doesnt make it negative, she tells me all the positives and makes sure to explain that im flossing and brushing correctly. For the dentist being a place that is not a joy to a lot of people, i can say that they have been great with me and I will continue to work with Kathy.

hands down the worst dental experience ever this older woman chipped my daughters front tooth and she told her assistant to put in the notes that the tooth was already chipped which made me sick to my stomach the dentist was very rude at times telling my daughter YOUR FINE when she was uncomfortable and when she was cleaning my daughters teeth she slipped with the tool and chipped my daughters front tooth. DURING BOTH APPOINTMENTs she found a extra cavity both times and didnt show me the work that was being done I felt very deceived and ripped off. DONT TRUST MIDWEST DENTAL

I have been going here for about 2 years now and so has my family and I used to hate going to the dentist with my previous dental office. They changed my outlook on the way I take care of my teeth and I really like how I dont have to wait long in the waiting room here. They also tell you an estimate on your next visit with insurance factored in which helps me stay on my budget instead of having some nasty charge I wasnt expecting. I would recommend EVERYONE to come here. Plus the office is decorated so beautifully. They do a wonderful job.

This is a great place! They make you feel very comfortable and they are real and personable! They did everything to make my experience a good one. I had to have a lot of work done in a short amount of time because my insurance was changing. They worked with me fast in a timely manner without sacrificing quality care. I recommend Midwest Dental to anyone needing dental care. They are very concerned about their clients and their needs! Thank you for a very positive experience!

Have worked with a couple different hygienists(Tonia & Carly) and they have been both very personable. Ive also switched my kids to one of their other offices(closer to their school) as their previous dentist just seemed to push people through like cattle. My last appointment was just yesterday where I had to get 2 fillings and I was in 10 minutes early and it only took about 45 minutes.

It was terrible, they were unprofessional and unorganized. They charged me $40 for appointments I cancelled a month in advance. I am now doing battle with their head office and no one returns phone calls. Terrible! Have never had a worse experience with a doctor in my life. STAY AWAY if you value your sanity.

They explain your options, answer all your questions and give you cost based on your insurance. A great location if youre looking for a quality, caring facility.

Terrible organization! Only in it for money. Dont trust them. Doctor told me I had 12 cavities went to another dentist said I had great teeth!, also they cant bill insurance correct. So mulost likely have to pay for visit
