They are amazing at what they do. Since my first visit my life has changed for the better. They showed me there was more to this world than a life of addiction. Through continuos appointments and group therapy, Ive learned coping skill and the underlying issues that lead to my addiction. The doctors and therapists are friendly and knowledgeable. Its not just a job to them. The compassion theyve showed me and those they help is limitless. If you really want to live a sober and addiction free life- this place will not only show you how, but theyll lead the way. I am eternally grateful for Acacia Wellness Center here in Milwaukee. These people are saving lives daily. These doctors and therapists are Real Heros.

(*edit - Acacia has closed, theres a new clinic at that location, Achievement Associates.) Purely by chance, I found this clinic while searching for AODA treatment. Its fairly well organized, the people are friendly (given time) , and the atmosphere is good for what theyre doing - AODA and Mental Health services. With specific programs for each type of need. They provide some very badly needed services and do it well. Basically, they saved my life...Thats as good as it gets.

Refused to fill out paperwork for housing. Also, claimed I said something in my records, that I never actually said. Told me they couldnt give me 3 refills on meds when they closed my case. I thought this was a law. Very unhappy.

They were great to work with but sometimes the appts where hard to come by. Only left cuz I moved away from Milwaukee. Dont believe its a good place to be with mental illnesses.

Its a good place except for the lady that answers the calls and schedules the appointments she will just hang up and completely send your call to a therapist. She sucks

This place has helped me out a lot.. But they sure make you jump through a lot of hoops
