I wish I could give them zero stars!!! A few years ago my dog swallowed a sock. I called around to some vets and they said I needed to bring her in immediately because if she digests the sock, it will get stuck in her intestines and kill her. I took her to banfield and they told me that they need to perform surgery for $3,500 to get the sock out. I asked them to try to make her throw up but they said they couldnt feel the sock in her stomach so they believe she had started to digest. I went crazy trying to come up with the money that same day. I wound up calling metropolitan animal hospital and told them the situation. They told me to bring her in, and they gave her medicine that induced her vomiting, which made the sock come up right away!! Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I completely forgot that this was the same hospital that tried to screw me over before. I took her in for a check up because she had been scratching severely, and she needed her updated rabies shots. They gave her the shots and told me she has fleas that caused her scratching, and would charge me $90 to apply a 30 day topical flea application. I refused the topical and paid for the rabies vaccination. I took her to get groomed the next day and her groomer informed me that she has severe dry skin, and her ears were bleeding! The vet checked the ears and didnt mention that, and I also inquired that she may have dry skin and the vet simply said it was the fleas. Her groomer also applied the exact same flea application for $15 instead of $90. They suggested I never take my pets there again and I agreed!! They are money hungry and dont really care about your pets!
