The office did not properly verify my insurance benefits prior to seeing me for my visit. They collected a co-payment from me on the date of service and I didnt hear from them until just now when I received a call from a debt collector. It wasnt posted to my credit report, but these are poor business practices. I manage a group of 40 dental practices. We verify insurance benefits prior to seating patients, and disclose all patient costs to the patient prior to performing work. If were wrong, then we eat the cost. This is how this relationship should work. Id look elsewhere for more honest and transparent billing practices.
