My daughter had gone here for an eye exam and eyeglass purchase. On her visit, she was made to wait a long time before being seen. One thing that I had noted on my three visits, (I was also a customer) was that there was only one optometrist was onsite. Though there were three examination rooms. When the optometrist became free, he left her to wait an additional twenty minutes before seeing her. But what annoyed most was that they had forgotten to return her insurance card after taking her paperwork. She had also been seen later for an eyeglass fitting, and they had still not retuned her card. This had all taken place three months ago! She had just noticed that the card was missing. The issue was that they knew they were holding it, but had never called to inform her (we checked the phone records). In my going to retrieve it, I asked why they had not called, and was told that they had called, and that they were very busy with other customers. So, this was why they had only "called" once. In my three visits, they have never been busy. There was no apology, and their attitude was so uncaring. Not what one would expect. We will never use their services again. Overall, the customer service is very lacking, and the experience was not satisfying.

I called them because i lost my glasses so they can send a request to my insurance company. The receptionist told me she will call them. I called them about a week after and the same girl picked up the phone. She told me that she called them already and is waiting to hear back from them. 1. that was a lie. 2. Why is the same person picking up the phone if she is lazy as hell??? I called my insurance company to see what is going on because its been more than 3 weeks and I work at a pharmacy so i know it doesnt take this long. I found out my insurance never got any calls or requests form these people. Its so sad because I needed glasses pretty bad and i was nice enough to give them time to do the work but they never did it.

The only good thing about this place is their glasses. Ive never had any issues with the representatives who helped you picked them out. The eye doctor and the receptionists are not good (Im a receptionist myself, I would know.) There are a lot of bad things I can say about their service, but Ill keep it simple. I went to a new eye doctor who examined the glasses I received from here. They totally screwed up my lenses!!!! One lens had no prescription, the other one was for near sightedness. I have astigmatism in both eyes!!! Unbelievable. No wonder why I never felt like my glasses did anything for me!

Went to the store on a Saturday at 1:45. The sign on the front door shows they close at 2:30. When I asked to find out if they accept my insurance the women behind the desk gave the following information 1)I would have to make an appointment before they could check what my insurance covered 2)The store was about to close 3) I could call my insurance if I want to find out about my coverage. The person had no customer service skills and gave me the distinct impression that they have all the customers they need. I walked out never to return.

I came here because I was given a referral by my military optometrist on base since theyre undermanned. I set up an appointment a week prior and then the day before appointment, they leave a message stating that I should go to the base since Im active duty. I swear theyre so dense. Then they try to tell me I might get sent a bill in the mail when Im actually covered by my insurance. This is the least military friendly establishment Ive ever been in. They only seem to care about the money they could possibly make off of their customers.

I had a great experience at Visionworks in August 11. I was not harassed by the associate when I walked in but instead I was left alone to try on glasses as I pleased. I personally do not like to be followed around when I am shopping for this type of thing. She was extremely helpful when I was finished and ready to buy a pair. She let me know that there were upgrades for my lenses but was not pushy in trying to sell me upgrades that would raise the price. I would recommend this place to buy glasses!

I newer ever go this store again. I am try to get appointment. Until two days and long phone holds i cant success. When i call very first time women on the line said (sometimes no say anything) please wait a line, after 10 minute i am still waiting nobodies pickup the phone. After then, i was call again. Same women quickly answer me and same thing happened again. Looks like they are not need customer anymore...

Tried to schedule for eye check up for 4 of my family members, they kept of my phone call hold for almost 15 minutes I received a rude answer that they dont give appoint for whole family at a time. Very crazy I am going to them from past 5 years every time they do some or other mischief. Really dont recommend anyone to go there. I changed doctor. Anyway Doctor is very nice person and he real gentleman.

Called, paid and then I find out.....they were out of network.. never once was I told they were out of network. Was told they take my insurance, then after the exam ... they say my coverage doesnt pay for this, that and this. Went and checked later it was out of network..with an in-network provider I would have paid 0. For what I received!!! Very deceptive!!!!!!!! Will never go back.

My experience here... wow lets start with the first and foremost most important thing. The SERVICE. My family and I were held an extra 30 minutes just to be told they will check n call back. They never did. Re ceptionist are rude. They told me insurance will not cover coz the increase in grade is minimal but insurance agent said after 2 yrs it can b covered already. Kys Bys Sys

Not only was the appointment punctual and efficient, Dr. Patel discovered that the reason I was having trouble seeing was not due to the fact that my eyes were getting worse but in fact, they were improving and my contacts were too strong. I know she had nothing to do with this occurrence but the fact that I can read today without using glasses makes me ecstatic. Thank you!!!

They do not honor the appointments.Very bad experience.I drove long way and returned as they did not allow eye test because I was only 5 minutes late. Not recommended and much better eye care centers are there in Edison.

Not respectful of appointments. Waited for over 45 mins and was still told that there is no guarantee that someone will see me in next 45 mins. Total waste of time for people who have things to do.
