Best Dentist In New York! Hands down, I usually dread getting dental work, but Dr. Shirakura is very gentle,very patient, Professional and sensitive to the patients comfort level. Highly professional not to mention the staff is so friendly Especially Joann, that I get so excited to go back (a first time feeling when visiting a dental office) Joann is so Sweet,Funny and very attentive One of the reasons that keeps me going back. I love this dentist office, They treat you like family. and they always put your health first and are very caring and accommodating. I drive over an hour just to this dental office, because of how professional, caring and attentive, and joann! Make sure to say hi to joann, she is the best! and always holds my hand when getting dental work. Thank you so much to Dr. Shirakura and to all of his amazing Staff for giving me the best dental experience.

I love Dr. Shirakura. Hes very meticulous. He also conscious of costs and conservative about recommending work, unless its really necessary. Hes particularly good at eliminating high points on filings (which can be very painful) as soon as the filling is in. I was just in there for an office visit, with a toothache, and he only charged me for the x-rays. He also has a sweet personality and very modern equipment. The people at the front desk are especially lovely and solicitous of my well being. I like my hygienist there as well. Very quick, doesnt hurt me, pleasant to talk to.

Dr. Shirakura and his staff are amazing. Ive been using them for years and would highly recommend their services. I enjoy visiting them for my regular visits- yes, Im talking about a Dentistry office! This is a friendly place where everyone knows your name even though you only visit twice per year (hopefully!). Dr. Shirakura keeps himself and staff up to date on the latest in technology as they always seem to have a new device which makes their work easier, faster, or more pleasurable for the patient.

Dr. Aki Shirakura is a wonderful dentist. He is very caring and he takes very good care of your teeth. He has done several crowns for me and they are beautiful works of art. If you are a dental coward, Dr. Shirakura is the dentist for you! I usually fall asleep in the wonderful dental chairs and there is never any issue of pain or discomfort. His staff is wonderful, warm and welcoming. It is a pleasant experience every time I go to see Dr. Shirakura. I love going to the dentist!
