What can I say about this place that can fully convey my genuine thanks and gratitude? On Saturday, December 5, 2015, my beloved cat Mosey was put to sleep after she was diagnosed with untreatable systemic cancer. She was just two months shy of her 21st birthday. She had lived with chronic renal failure for the past 3 1/2 years, had become acutely ill over a 12-hour period, and would not have been able to withstand any invasive treatment. Dr. Foley and his staff made her comfortable and we were able to spend time with Mosey, saying our goodbyes, in the quiet of the Comfort Room. The staff were sensitive and respectful and expressed genuine sympathy for our loss. Moseys passing was gentle and peaceful. Several days later, I received a condolence card from the staff and was stunned to see they had placed a stamp of Moseys own paw print in the card. A unique memento that I will always treasure. I was beyond touched. I cannot recommend them enough.

My dog Yogi (a relatively new patient of Dr. Foleys and a very cautious 10 yr. old Lhasa) seems to know this Doc is here to help him/and one good human. Doc Foley has stuck with Yogi through a scary three week ordeal with what turned out to be a benign tumor in his lymph node/salivary gland area. Doc Foley performed the surgery and he and his team dealt with not only Yogis pain but the human side of things with emotion and understanding even through the numerous calls and revisits for some complications (edema) and a slow healing. Yogi and our family (including our Shih Tzu Peppino) are forever grateful for the care and follow up Dr. Foley, Dr. Jenna, Tia and the team has continued to provide. Immaculately clean (I am very critical) and compassionate with his patients...I think Dr. Foley was almost as happy as we were that Yogi will make a full recovery. Highly recommend...

I have a 13 month old Cavalier King Charles and its my first dog in 30 years. Before choosing a vet, I did a lot of research online and asked many friends for recommendations. The highest praise was for South Bellmore Vetinary Group. So far they have lived up to the high praise I received regarding their service. The facility is clean. The staff is efficient, friendly and helpful. Dr Carrie is the BEST! She gives you as much time as you need and answers questions graciously. I never am kept waiting long, and everyone has an upbeat attitude. I wholeheartedly recommend South Shore Vetinary Group to anyone looking for smart, kind people to keep their pet healthy.

LOVE this Veterinary group and their caring, friendly staff - doctors AND support staff. From being empathetic, kind and helpful as we put our 15 yr old dog to rest, to picking up cat food monthly (buying this food SAVED us from operating on our cat), to stopping by for quick monthly weigh-ins for our saint Bernard puppy to overall vet care of our other two large/giant breed dogs - thank YOU! Every time I walk in the door, my pup and I are always greeted with smiley faces and someone eager to help us out. We are always treated with the best care and the staff is as sweet as can be. Dr Carrie is awesome and always takes her time when explaining why and exactly what procedures are or why they are needed. I would definitely say if you love your pet, then you need to come here !!!

Highly recommend this office! Dr Carrie and the entire staff have always been so kind and caring anytime I have been here. Will never forget the compassion we felt from Dr Carrie and her team as we had to put our 16 year old cat Coby down. They stayed late and did not rush us one bit while we were saying good bye to our baby. They are everything and more for your pets vet needs!

We have a 3 month old labradoodle puppy and brought him to see Dr. Carrie twice so far, and she has been amazing. She is very thorough and takes her time to answer any questions you have in detail. The whole staff is very friendly and extremely loving with all of the animals. We are very pleased with the South Bellmore Vet Group and will be returning for years to come!

I am so glad I found this vet, the girls at the desk are all so friendly and caring, the whole place is so clean and well taken care of... Dr dale is the best taking care of my dog ava and our rabbit Cannoli.. she is honest and truly does not want to charge you for everything under the sun like most places. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone with a pet

This place is amazing!!! Had to rush my year old shepherd here because she got bit by another dog. They were so quick to get her out of my car and in the back with the Vet. I have been using South Bellmore Vet group for a very long time. I have found them to be friendly and very caring. Dr. Foley makes me feel safe when he takes care of my babies. I trust him totally. He has been through many very sad moments with me and has been warm and caring. I would never even think of changing.

My cat was vomiting not being able to hold food down for 2 days. I agreed to a blood test and a Radiography. While he cat was receiving fluid therapy for rehydration the vet racked up over $550 in tests without authorization from me. WAtchout it doesnt happen to you !

Love love love Dr. Foley and The entire staff at this animal hospital. Dr. Foley does not do unnecessary vaccinations and thats what led us to him. Hes kind, caring, and does not rush you when you have 1 million questions. I would recommend this practice highly.

We have a big baby Labrador and they treat him very well. I mean big by 100 pounds and he can be hard to get him to move unless he wants to. They know dogs and are able to manage our big baby.
