I took my dog to Allen Veterinary Hospital for a general consultation after adopting her from a rescue because this hospital had the best internet reviews. I found the veterinarian to be a bit rude. As a first time client, he did not even introduce himself nor did he care to know my name, or my dogs name. Also, he did not seem to want to listen to any of the concerns that I had about my dog. He would simply talk over me whenever I tried to voice my opinion/concern. Also, I did not like the fact that the consultation room is one door away from the waiting room. The vet talks very loud and everyone in the waiting room ends up hearing your business. The vet seemed to be knowledgeable however, I am not interested in dealing with a vet who does not want to take my opinion of my dogs condition into consideration. I have since found a new vet and would not recommend this vet to anyone who wishes to build a relationship between you, your dog and the vet.

Having the just 2 great and wonderful vets for my pups, one in Mass for 25 years and in CT for the last 28, I was very nervous about taking my kids little pups anywhere else. But my fears were for naught, as I found from asking many locals where they took their dogs and Dr. Allen and Crew were spoken about so highly. So I booked an appointment and I took the dogs myself., they accommodated my schedule, since I live out of state. his staff was so welcoming. The Dr. listened to my history of the dogs, asked many questions and the pups took to him immediately. Someday I will be moving to Binghamton, since it is my kids chosen city, and my own dogs will need a Vet there, so I am happy to have made this connection not only for my kids pups but for mine.

Like any drugs its pricey but they know what they are doing. Very friendly and animal lovers they will make you and your pet feel welcome and they know what they ate doing. I would recommend all pets to this place

Weve been with this hospital for YEARS. The doctor and staff have always been amazing. This is an animal hospital, and they are focused on your pet, not you. The quality of care here is outstanding.

Nice place but I am not sure I will return. The vet wasnt sure what is wrong with my cat and gave me many options leading to a large bill. I think I will look around first.
