ONE STAR FOR A CLEAN OFFICE & A WONDERFUL TECH, NOW LET ME START IN ON DR.KATZ,,, BROUGHT MY CAT IN ON A MONDAY WITH THE UNDERSTANDING I WOULD RECEIVE A CALL FIRST THING ON TUESDAY MORNING WELL THAT DIDNT HAPPEN I RECEIVED A CALL 2PM AFTER I HAD BEEN CALLING ALL DAY THE EXCUSE I RECEIVED WAS HE WAS RUNNING LATE!!! NOT MY PROBLEM AFTER I PAID $700.00 TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY CAT. LONG STORY SHORT THIS UNETHICAL DR.WHO SHOULD BE STRIPPED OF HIS LICENSE. ON TUESDAY HE STATED HE SAW A BLOCKAGE IN MY CATS INTESTINES, BUT THE SECOND SET OF XRAY SHOW ITS BECOMING SMALLER & MOVING. "ID LIKE TO KEEP HIM ONE MORE DAY". NOW ITS WEDNESDAY CALLING ALL MORNING,,, BECAUSE THIS DOCTOR CAN NOT MAKE A CALL TO A CONCERNED OWNER HE WAITS TILL THE CLINIC IS CLOSED TO CALL & TELL ME THE FOREIGN BODY IS NOT MOVING ITS HUGE & WHITE IN FORM HE CANNOT PASS IT ON HIS OWN. "ID LIKE TO KEEP HIM ONE MORE DAY & IF IT HASNT PASSED THEN HE IS GOING NEED SURGERY ("OPEN HIM UP & HIS INTESTINES") & THIS WILL COST YOU 3,000 DOLLARS. I WAS HORRIFIED. SO I QUESTIONED HIM, BUT TUESDAY DR.KATZ YOU STATED IT WAS SMALLER & PASSING, I SAID YOUVE HAD MY CAT FOR 3 DAYS & YOU HAVENT FED HIM. HE SAID"HOW CAN I FEED HIM IF CAN NOT HOKD HIS FOOD DOWN. HE BECAME AGIGTATED THAT I WAS QUESTIONING HIM. I HUNG UP THE PHONE. I THOUGHT OF THESE LAST DAYS OF MY CALLING & NOW HE IS BACK PEDALING..... HMMMM. I CALLED BACK LESS THAN 30 SECONDS. I TOLD HIM DO NOT CLOSE THAT CLINIC I AM ON MY WAY I WANT A SECOND OPION, I WANT ALL YOUR FINDINGS .I PICKED UP MY KITTEN HE IS ONLY 9 MONTHS. HE WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE ME & WAS NOT BEHAVING LIKE HE WAS SICK AT ALL. I TOOK HIM TO 62ND & YORK 1ST AVE EMERGENCY ROOM. IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS THE DOCTOR CAME AND SAT NEXT TO ME & TOLD ME I CAN BRING HIM HOME THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HIM. I WAS SHOCKED & HAPPY AT THE SAME TIME.HE STATED HE FED HIM & HE HELD HIS FOOD DOWN THEY DID A SONOGRAM & HE HAD NOTHING BLOCKING HIS INTESTINES. NOW IM TALKING WITH MY A FRIEND WHO SAID TO ME HOW DO YOU KNOW THE XRAY HE GAVE YOU IS OF YOUR CAT... GOOD QUESTION. PEOPLE PLEASE BEWARE I DONT KNOW IF THIS MAN HAS DONE THIS BEFORE. MY CAT IS A PURE BREED MAINE COON. CONSUMERS PLEASE READ YOUR REVIEWS & EDUCATE YOURSELF. YES SOMETIMES LITTLE THINGS PISS PEOPLE OFF ...... BUT THIS RIGHT HERE WAS NO LIL THING. MY CAT WAS VOMITING & NOT KEEPING HIS FOOD DOWN. THE NEXT DAY MY OTHER CAT DID THE SAME THING, SO I KINDA KNEW THIS WAS NOTHING SERIOUS IF MY OTHER CAT WAS DISPLAYING THE SAME SYMPTOMS .THIS MAN WANTED TO EXPLOIT MY PAIN... SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!! YOU SHOULD BE STRIPPED OF YOUR LICENSE YOUR UNETHICAL, THOUGHT YOU WAS DEALING WITH SOMEONE WHO WOULD NOT QUESTION YOU WRONG PERSON! ******** BEWARE OF DOCTOR KATZ*********

Its clean. most of the time. I only go here when the baby needs shots since the prices are affordable. Honestly wouldnt go here for medical advice. The staff is always sweet and patient. Buuuut, unfortunately like a lot of vets this one is just about the money. You go in for a yearly check up, and the examination is done carelessly. They then try and prescribe you things you dont even need; my baby had a rash, he checked it out, (didnt look severe, but I dont play when it comes to my little one) and he quickly just said "Oh! ill give you blahblahblooh for this!" I wanted to laugh in his face so bad, but thats rude. like calm down, tell me its due to an allergic reaction, tell me he cant get rid of it without him taking medication, none of that though. anyway, I didnt take the medication, and 2 days later his rash was gone. (It was because my clumsy ass didnt google that dogs can be allergic to detergent in which I washed his bed with). Not only that! I decided to get his nails trimmed instead (same price as meds were) since I felt his qwick has shortened. They charged for full service when only like 3 nails were cut.. or trimmed. whatever! even if a little is clipped, going to be clipped, tell the customer before that. dont waste my money. atleast advise me to come back when he has a full damn set to cut. be mindful people. Im not broke, but im not stupid either. Might not even come back, since ive found out about the oral medication offered at other places. Also, PetCo provides great medical services. hope ive helped.

If I could give them 0 stars I would, there prices are ridiculously high and they are very rude, I went to them because my puppy was sneezing a lot and they told me that she had kennel cough and gave me a liquid medicine to give to her they charged me a lot of money and for the medicine, they said that she would get better in 4 to 5 weeks, 6 weeks had passed and nothing had changed, I went to them and told them that the medicine didnt do anything and that she was still sneezing and I had told them that I payed a lot of money for the medicine and they said that I didnt pay for the medicine yet the women told me that I couldnt get the medicine before until I pay the money for yet they tell me that I didnt pay for it. I went to armory dog and I had told them that the other doctors had said that she had kennel cough and they gave me a medicine but it didnt work, the doctor that was attending me said that there is no way she could have kennel cough because she had her vaccines for it and that she just must be allergic to something in the house and he gave me some pills for it and thats when she actually got better, therefore Bronx veterinarian lied to me and made me pay a lot of money for something my puppy didnt even have. Now I go to armory dog & cat hospital because there prices are low and they actually care about youre pet and want them to get better.

VERY WARM, CARING, COMPASTIONATE, PROFESSIONAL, CLEAN!!! I have been using Bronx Vetinary Center for several years after goin to many vets that I, and my animals didnt like as well as being over priced. I was going to Bronx Vetinary Center when they were located on the Grand Concourse. The office they moved to on Webster Ave is really nice, clean, more spacious. The office staff is very helpful, and friendly to both myself, and my animals. My animals actually love goin to this vet(I know can you believe!) I waited 15 minutes, and was taken into exam room. I was greeted by Dr. Vyorst. It was my dogs 1st exam by Dr. Vyorst. He was very nice, and understanding about my concerns. He took time to listen to me explain why I was at vet. He made my dog very comfortable. He explained course of treatment. I was very satisfied with dealin with him . Dr. Katz was very supportive, compassionate, and helpful with caring for my dog that suffered from seizures. He was always reachable by phone to answer any of my concerns. I have also had the pleasure of having Dr. B treat my animals. He to takes time to listen to you, and observe my animals offer least costly medical route to go to treat my animals dianosis. The doctors assisants are very friendly making my animals very comfortable. I will continue comming here for as long as I have animals!
