Ive been going to Dr. Epelboyms office for about two years now and Im still happy that I left my previous competent but expensive Manhattan dentist. The system works a little differently at the office, as you see whichever doctor is available unless you specify who youd prefer. I have only seen Dr. Epelboym himself once but Ive had three other dentists and I found myself trying to decide who was my favorite, giving up, I figured Id just leave it to chance since theyre all so good. They have a great approach, for someone like me who finds themselves at the dentists frequently they work with precision but also with speed. Im always able to book an appointment within a few days and they have a handy online appt making service. The only negative is that I usually wait for a while before being seen, that said, its another indication that so many people find them as great as I do. Also, the office is cold, bring a sweater! Ive twice had Katherine (Catherine)? for my yearly cleanings and I can not speak highly enough of her care and her attention to detail. The staff is great and Ive seen them ordering food for people and making the wait for bearable. Lastly, of great importance is that theyre located feet from the 77th st R train station. While I cant say I look forward to the dentists I will say that going here takes a huge amount of stress out of having to go. A definite recommendation.

While I can say that the work on the tooth it self is well done the rest of my experience here was horrible. I have never had a dentist, particularly when I am a new patient not review over my dental history or explain what plans they had with me prior to starting. The doctor peered in my mouth, informed me of the two cavities that I had already alerted them to when I made the appointment. Then proceeds to tell me it will take 20 minutes to repair and we had time to do it today. Before I could ask or do anything he is jabbing the Novocain in my mouth and injecting it at such speeds that it went from uncomfortable to straight pain. As this isnt my first filling and I have had some dental work done in the past I am quite familiar with how it should have felt. I should have not been screaming from the pain! After his terse manner, he filled the tooth and just simply turned around and went, "Youre finished. See the person in the front she will ring you up" No discussion about additional treatments or the reasons I traveled all the way to them. Go to pay for the treatment, the person quotes me one amount and then rings me up for another. When I mention it to her she just waves it off and go oops.

My husband and I had the worse experience at this facility! We traveled from Atlanta, GA to this dentist to be ridiculed and experience the worse customer service ever! The front desk staff were not friendly or welcoming. All of the staff spoke English but when communicating with each other about our files they spoke in Russian which made us very uncomfortable. Two of them even started arguing in their language. One of the Dental Hygienist stated "There is no way you ever brush your teeth and your mouth looks like this!" While sitting in the waiting room, Kathie (the billing personnel), shouted to me from across the room "You have a big day today! You need to get a lot of work done and started to name all of the procedures I needed. What happened to patient confidentiality? We saw two different Dentists and neither of them explained their concerns or were detailed about what needs to be done. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I thank Dr. Epelboym for helping me keep my teeth clean and shiny!  Regular dental cleanings and check-ups are important components of maintaining your overall health.  The equipment is state of the art - I was amazed as to how comfortable and at ease I felt during my last cleaning. I appreciated him explaining what he  had found in the x-rays he had taken - thankfully, no cavities, but there were places that we needed to watch to make sure that there were no future problems. Dr. Epelboym is easy to talk with and was patient in answering all my questions. He is professional, knowledgeable, personable and gentle. 

The chairs are so comfortable that  I almost took a little snooze while they were working on me. 

I felt like I had a spa treatment instead of having my teeth cleaned.

Smile! And now I can! I am SO happy with my new smile too! I cannot say enough about the friendly staff, professional dentists, and overall experience I encounter EVERY TIME I go to the dentist! In just a few visits I can honestly say...I am smiling more and feeling so great about my experiences there. BELIEVE ME...I am NOT one of those lucky people to have perfect teeth and gums...FAR FROM IT!! But after just a few visits, I know I am on the way to a much healthier mouth and beautiful smile! I also want to point out that everything is explained in a way that I can understand, and I feel that the dentists are including me in all the decisions that have to be made. I would definitely recommend going here to ANYONE who has dental fear issues....believe me...you wont be sorry you finally made the decision to start making that new and healthier smile a reality!!

I had an awesome experience at Cosmetic Dentistry Center yesterday, from the time of arrival at LaGuardia Airport in New York to my departure to Atlanta. There was no waiting period in the reception area. Doctors and Techs were very professional as always. We were a party of three, my wife, daughter and myself and we were finished with our dental appointments and back at LaGuardia earlier than expected. We caught an earlier flight back to Atlanta. My family were not comfortable with PRIOR DENTISTS but your environment and staff creates an atmosphere like home away from home and we cannot wait to share our experience with others. Thanks again for an awesome day, you have made a dentist lover out of me. I always hated going to the dentist but now I cant wait on my next appointment to come back, its always better every time.

Ive been going to Dr Epelboym for years and I have to say he is the best dentist that Ive ever had. Ive never had a bad experience no matter what the reason for my visit. He has taken great care of me and my family (my father, son and brother all go there too.) He always has the newest procedures, equipment, chairs- you name it... The office itself is amazing. There are tvs in the ceiling above every dental chair. Its comfortable, gorgeous and obviouvsly well taken care. This is a top notch dental practice from top to bottom. Instead of plain old magazines in the waiting room they have a huge flatscreen. Apart from the usual watercooler, they offer espressos and cappucinos! All around the best dentist and dental practice Ive ever seen. Highly recommend it to anyone.

D.J.-Dec. 19,2011 My vote is for Dr.Dmitry Epelboym as Best Dentist in the World!!! ...and The Cosmetic Dentistry Center as The Best Dental Office in the World!!! Seriously! From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed with a sea of smiling faces at the front desk. Then when you are called by the Xray Tech, she also has a big smile just for you...Once my initial cleaning was done(again, by a warm and caring assistant), I was approached by the lovely office manager who discussed my procedure and assured me that Dr. Epelboym would take great care of me...what a special touch,she really made me feel confident on that first visit...Then I met Dr. Epelboym,the Smartest, the Best Smiling,Most Charming, Most Caring ,Most Skillful and PAINLESS Dentist EVER!!!
