HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE AT ALLLLL !!!!!! VET IS A SCAM.( if in reality hes a vet , I doubt it but ok ) ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY ,,,Brought my Frenchie because of an upset stomach, and a little vomiting, ( frenchies have. Really sensitive stomachs ). the so call "vet" diagnosed my dog with. " Pancreatic disease " and "diabetes" in less than 2 minutes!!!! We have to run blood work , we have to do X ray , we have to give him 3 shoots ,for viruses, and we have to keep him for 3 days, ??????????? He walks out of the 156• degrees room ( heat was blasting ) and left me there for 10 min standing, just to sent the "secretary" to handle me a $$$950 dollars bill ?!!!! And ask. How you gonna pay ? Cash or credit card ???Dude !! I didnt say you can treat my dog or that you can go ahead with your diagnostic, i told the "secretary" that Ill take only anything for the diarrea. And I will take him to his regular vet in the morning since it was midnight, she walked away leaving me in that 1237• degrees room again. For another 10 minutes and cameback to say. "Doctor is busy in the back hell see you in 30 minutes" ok I understand Im not the only patient so I decide to take my dog outside for a little walk since is a 272• degrees room and the "doctor" is busy , so I walk to the door and the so call "doctor" is seating in the waiting area just chilling , thinking how his scam didnt work and couldnt get me to swipe my card for 950 dollars, ( thats why he left me there ? Bc I didnt agree to pay 950 and only wanted something to hold my dog down till the morning to see his regular vet ???? By the way I took my dog to his vet and he only had an upset stomach since I changed his diet. His vet recommended only lots of water and mix the new food with the old one so he can get use to it ...... yup you right. That was the solution!!!! And it was only 45 dollars since I insisted in paying the consultation and for his time.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. My experience here was horrible. I walked in with my pet unable to breath and collapsed in my arms. The first person to attend me did not greet me nor did he show compassion towards me and my animal. All he was concerned about was me signing a paper to charge me for the visit. This was his main & only priority during my distressing situation. He demonstrated no empathy nor sympathy. My dog was actively dying. The doctor walked in and recognized me from a last visit I made (my other dog died here). I was in distres , afraid and in tears for my dogs life. She listened to her heart, did not take her vitals , nor her oxygen saturation. At this point I was so upset that I pleded that she please do something soon because my dog was breathing heavily. She responded to me in a non therapeutic manner and told me that my dog would DIE.( I dont care if your the BEST doctor in the world, you just dont say that to a client if first, your not 100% sure and second you havent yet attempted to save her) The doctors assistant was slamming his fist against the table because he was angry. The doctor came back 7 mins late to tell me that I should take my dog to Blue Pearl emergency clinic because they were not medically equipt to provide the necessary treatment . I left that place in tears. My dog later died. Im traumatized by the fact that my dog was in distress and barely breathing and they send me else where and did not properly attend to her needs . This is not the first time. This fauality is truely unprofessional.

I will never utilize this hospital again, not due to cost as many of the other reviews have referenced, but due to negligent care. I brought in my dog after 9PM as my regular vet was closed at the time. My dog was whimpering at home and clearly in some sort of pain. At the vet, he did not exhibit any signs of pain as he was anxious and stressed. We discussed the symptoms we recognized at home, and the vet performed an exam ($95) feeling mainly my dogs stomach. He indicated that his stomach was slightly distended and it could be Cushings Disease; however we would need a blood test to confirm ($250). Blood came back normal and we were told it was just stomach discomfort. At home, my dog did not sleep all night and was whimpering and pacing all night long. I brought my dog to my normal vet immediately the next day, and shared the blood results from the previous night. After her initial assessment, she determined that it was a soft tissue injury (back pain), and prescribed an anti-inflammatory and pain medications. She did perform an X-Ray as a per-caution, but this was my choice, and she did indicate it may not be necessary at all. The whole point of this long winded story is the doctor did not perform an adequate exam, and could have easily determined the cause of pain if he cared enough to do a full proper exam. I will never complain about the cost of emergency vet hospital; however I do expect competent care. The source of my dogs discomfort could have easily been diagnosed minus the $250 blood test.

I took my dog here because he was attacked by another dog and this was on of the few open and closest anmial hospitals to where the incident occured. Otherwise, I would have taken my dog to his hospital in NJ where the level of compassion and professionalism would blow your mind. The receptionist was very courteous (wish i got her name) and explanatory. When the vet technician, Jesse, walked in he immediately started touching the dog without any introduction as to who he was or what he was planning to do. He then began to take my dogs temperature rectally without cleaning the probe and then placed it back behind the sink for the next victim. When asked about the use of a lubricant or whether it would be cleaned he brushed me off and said its not a concern of ours. When I telephoned Dr. Kimberly Farfan the very next morning, she immediately became very defensive and kept cutting me off as though my concerns were not valid. I was pleasantly surprised as I assumed a DVM would be more understanding and desire to establish a healthy client relationship. The injection costs were a bit pricey but not surprising as it is an emergency hospital. Would I recommend this facility? NEVER Why 2 stars? Receptionist saved them

As we walked in we knew this experience would be the worst. We walked threw the door only to see crying clients due to their horrible treatment. This Animal Hospital deserves 0 stars. We went inside a room and waited for someone to help us. A Nurse came inside asked us what happened, and then took his dirty hands without gloves coming from other sick dogs and examined my dog (opened his mouth). That is not professional. For gods sake the thermometer had no protection to check his temperature! We then waited for the doctor, the doctor didnt have gloves either. They scolded and frightened us that we would have loads of test to do. The cashier later came into the room when the doctor left and wanted to convince us to let them proceed in unnecessary and expensive tests, They told us if we dont want to pay and let them do the test then to sign a paper. We came out disappointed. If you go to this clinic with your lovable pet with one illness you will come home with many more. I dont know how people say this vet was good but my experience was horrendous!
