Last night I had to bring my beloved 10-year old cat to be euthanised. It was a terribly traumatic experience for me. The entire staff of the Gardiner Animal Hospital were the most compassionate, gentle souls I have ever dealt with at a veterinarian. So many people, so much unconditional support and kindness. I will always use you for all my other pets and cannot imagine a better veterinary team. Thank you so much for your sweetness and patience and the love you showed for my little Flippy. And the young lady who sat with me, whose name I dont remember, was a true angel and said all the right things to help ease the pain and give me perspective and empathy. You people are a Godsend and I look forward to you taking care of all my awesome and silly pets. Flippy was a gentle soul who was loved and will be missed. Thank you for getting me through this. Ive only brought my turkeys here, but from now on Ill bring my dogs as well. These people are caring and considerate - first and foremost. They take all the time you need to explain things. Their fees are fair. I lost my dog today, and when I called my own vet (NVH) - to whom I paid over $3k this summer to treat a week-long illness my dog had, all they could tell me was to call the local animal shelters. When I called Gardiner, the woman I spoke to oozed genuine sympathy, and took down my dogs information and invited me to post a flier there. Chip and Angie are about to change vets.

Terrible experiences here mulitple times. Misdiagnosed my dog which cost her her life. Gave them a second try four years later and the place is unorganized and no one seems to know whats going on. They wrote two prescriptions incorrectly two different times for my current diabetic dog. Told to come in for a blood test for my dog who is diabetic they make the appointment time and then say once we are there that it should of been done in the morning. I will be taking my two dogs elsewhere. Back to Saugerties animal hospital even if I have to drive 40 mins its worth it.

I have been taking my Animals there for over 40 years. Dr. Goodnow I believe must be one of the best vetrenarians in the Hudson Valley. The office staff and other doctors are always curtiouse and kind, There love of animals as well as the offices understanding of just when enough is enough for your animal is outstanding. I have saddly had to put down many loved pets over the years, and the kindness from everymember of the staff has always been nothing short of moving.

I contacted this animal hospital before I brought my horse home to make sure we had a vet lined up in case anything were to happen and for regular check ups. I called the emergency number last night that is supposed to be a 24 hr service when my boy was showing signs of colic. Thank god my boy is okay because I have yet to even get a phone call from these people....so much for compassionate.

They are amazing people who work here kind, caring and loving also very supportive... they are very wonderful with my fur babies... I do not have any complaints, I love this place and so does my fur-babies... Very nice staff. Drs seemed very practical in their approach and I didnt feel as though I was being sold the marketing principles from the last veterinary practice management profitability seminar. Cool place.

well my puppy wasnt happy cause his nails wasnt filed they didnt file the nails its sharp tho when he was done their was two young girls was doing his nails my puppy is a teacup chihuahua tan
