This place deserves MORE than just a 5 star! I have never ever been to any veterinary that cares about their animals more than here. If your furbaby is a patient here rest assure they will treat them like one of their families I can promise you that!! I have been bringing my lionhead bunnies here since 2009! Dr. Saver not only saved my bunny Oreos life when I was a very irrresponsible pet owner back then and educated me with the right caring for my rabbits! I am forever grateful for that Since 2012 when I moved to NYC from Boston Ive transferred all my babies visits to here. They have done an outstanding job every time I bring them in for check ups. Even when my Lionhead bun, Peanut Butter sadly passed away from an abscess last year, they were very personal about it and sent me cards. Every time I bring my babies in for something, they would always call and check on them to make sure they are doing better. No other vet has ever done this for my babies. With that I really trust them for. Dr. Saver and Dr. Miller has both worked with my babies before. They are both very genuine and experienced, I would have no doubt bringing your bunny or cat or guinea pigs in. Their front desk staffs and everyone that works there are very friendly and helpful. I would not go anywhere else except here. Dr George has also helped me with information when I had to call for emergency inquiries overnight. Everyone is very knowledgeable! When you walk in to their clinic you will sense the homey feel they built for their patients. From the cute wall decors to the cleanliness. Ive never been to one vets office that looks like this one! And the environment that they are trying to build for their animals (cats and rabbits) is a safe and quiet enviroment, which is perfect for their nature! I LOVE catnips and carrots! Thank you Dr Saver,Dr Miller and Dr George! You all are amazing!

Absolutely love this place! If you have a rabbit do not hesitate to come here! Its so tough finding a good vet for rabbits since theres not many experts on rabbit care but I finally found it and I fell in love immediately. Nice people at the desk, cozy waiting area and a great informative vet who seemed like she knew her stuff! She informed me on many things from what to feed my rabbit, how to house her, and gave me a packet on all the information a rabbit caregiver ever needs! So pleased with this place and the people amazing. Also THE PRICE WAS WAY CHEAPER THAN ANY VET CLINIC I BEEN TO FOR MY RABBIT, the ones who specialize in dogs cost me 140-170 and this place was like 60$. GREAT PRICE FOR GREAT CARE AND EXPERTISE. Also to spay/neuter your rabbit is cheap compared to many other places its about 200-300 dollars. But you wont find cheaper anywhere else. I love love love this place and will continue going here for every vet visit my rabbit needs. Recommend this place to anyone and everyone. 10 stars if I could.

The BEST rabbit savy vet you can find!!! I have 3 girls, and as soon as I walked in for my first checkup, I instantly knew they knew what they were talking about! I trust them with my rabbits so much that I cant think of any other place I would ever take them! My girl just got spayed, and I was so nervous that I cried dropping her off. They assured me she was in good hands. She came out of surgery better than ever, and I even recieved calls notifying me when she was out of surgery and updating me on her! They kept her over night which made me feel more comfortable that she was being monitored. They are wonderful and educated staff and Dr. Saver is absolutely amazing. They truly treated my baby girl like she was their own and I cant thank them enough. 100% reccomend. They are the best of the best.

I have to say out of all the places Ive been Catnip & Carrots is one of the nicest cleanest places Ive been. They talk to you like a person and explain things to you. I was thinking about having my cat declawed and i had asked about it very afraid of the look and remark i would get..... She kindly explained that it is the very last resort. If other options dont work and what can happen to the cat! I was very thankful for that. If you were wondering i took every word in to consideration and did not do it i keep his nails cut and am going to try caps. I think i would have felt terrible after words and i wouldnt have been able to take it back or fix it. Thank You Dr.Miller!

My adult male dwarf rabbit had a mystery lump which needed attention. I found CatnipAndCarrots through House Rabbit Society and was pleased to see they were quite popular. The office space is large and clean. The staff was courteous, personable, and supportive from the start. I was nervous at my bun’s triage and up until surgery day, one week later. Drs. Saver, Miller, and George worked seamlessly together with their staff to take care of my bun. When I expressed some concern about his recovery period, they seemed equally concerned and followed up regularly. He is now doing very well. I highly recommend CatnipAndCarrots and will see them for all regular checkups.

I truly cannot recommend Dr Miller highly enough. She is a saint, a literal saint. It is crazy hard to find a vet who has the extensive experience (well over a decade!) with house buns AND the absolute dedication and strong, loving compassion that Dr Miller has shown time and time again for my little fuzz butt, Percy. I frankly adore her, and Percy does, too. Take your beloved bun to see her - you will be so glad that you did! She has the clinical experience to identify any problem that your bunny may develop, and the wisdom to recognize when, especially with such a sensitive animal as a rabbit, less is sometimes more.

As a Catholic priest from Queens NY, I can truthfully say that this place is "off the scale" AMAZING. I have never experienced such care and compassion as found in this facility. I was stunned when the Doctor called me " out of the blue" in the evening to give me an update on my little feline girl. (who is one difficult cookie!) For me, this place is a unique and special treasure. Im still shaking my head in disbelief at the love and expertise found here. To some strange degree its hard to believe this wonderful place exists....its almost too good to be true!!

I could write a book and not say enough. Their depth of knowledge and experience is supreme. They CARE and work with each animal and family like it is their own. I have had immense crises and they have your back at every turn. The patience, the support, the dedication of all the staff is astonishing. I have been going for ten years and could not recommend more highly. And they know RABBIT medicine! The kindest, most helpful, and most expert veterinary hospital you could find for cats, rabbits, and small animals.

I absolutely love this hospital and its the only place I ever trust with my rabbits care. I live 1.5 hours away in Staten Island and gladly make the trip there when my bunny needed it. They truly care about your pets, not just their pockets. When I needed some help and couldnt get to them they gave me advice on what meds to give my girl so I could get them elsewhere. The whole staff including the reception staff truly care for your pets well being and are all so knowledgeable. I couldnt recommend them enough.
