We transferred to flat iron pediatrics after several horrible experiences at another nearby practice. It was a Friday mid day and our previous doctor wasnt able to see us. We were told to go to the emergency room. I decided to search for another doctor and found flat iron pediatrics. The woman on the phone was friendly and helpful and scheduled us for the next morning. It was a Saturday! Can you believe it? Our previous doctor wouldnt even take us on a Friday because they were closing early and it was not a holiday. Dr. Riese and her nurse practitioner Erin are kind and patient with both my kids and myself. Theyre always available to answer any questions I have. They have been able to fit me and sometimes even on the same day.The rest of the staff are equally friendly. Although taking your kids to the doctor is never a fun experience, at least they are warm and welcoming making it that much easier. I dont even know for sure if my insurance is excepted at this practice. The receptionist is waiting for my insurance company to get back. But, I dont really care at this point. Id rather come to flat iron pediatrics then go back to the other practice

We started bringing our son here about 5 months ago. We left tribeca pediatrics and never looked back. We wanted our son to have the same experience we had as children, one or two doctors who know your history, your name and care about you. This is exactly what Flatiron has to offer. They always listen, promptly return phone calls and give the time you need to feel supported as a parent without judgement. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We love Flatiron Pediatrics! Have been going there since my 2nd baby was born, and had such wonderful experience each and every visit. Also transferred my older kid there. Appointments are easy to make, usually exactly on time, and doctors and nurses are very thorough and caring. Very cool office too, in a convenient location.
