New puppy required a new vet. Called and got a same morning appointment. Staff super friendly. The doctor did an exam and chatted about potential issues with the breed and more testing that could be done later but wasnt necessary right now. Eye infection cleared and mange is clear so I think we are good. They comped my first visit since it was a rescue adoption even tho they were not listed as vets that would provide such an offer. That was appreciated. The medications prescribed were reasonably priced, which seems like is normal but its not been my experience with Banfield. Overall I think this will be a good fit. I tend to do a lot of holistic things first before I drag my dog to the vet for every little thing but having a vet and hospital combined ensures that if I need that assistance everything can be handled at the same location. Overall Im pleased!

Ive been coming here for 5 years. Dr. Kolta ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM! He is so kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I have taken at least 10 different dogs and bunnies there. Dr. K did all of my pets surgeries to have them neutered or spayed. Hes great! For regular visits, its usually first come first serve. You can schedule an appointment. Im not exactly sure which days but if you call, the staff is friendly and they should be able to tell you which doctor you can schedule an appointment with. The prices are ok. A regular visit is $50 I believe. Parking is super easy. You can park on the street There are lots of spots or parking on the street with No meters. When my pug, Molly passed away, Dr. K sent me a long, handwritten note with his condolences. It was beyond loving and caring. Very happy with this vet and the Clinic.

I went with my dog worried I was losing her, recently lost my job so my funds were really low. I went to this vet and he was so sweet, so good to her!!-gave her 4 shots two take home meds and it totaled over$100 and change,I only had $83 he only took $70!! Would not take all of my cash, and asked me to bring her back for a follow up for free!! LIFESAVER I could see he wanted to help my companion in life my dog child more than getting my money! Awesome! To see a vet that still has his heart and passion in the right place!!! Especially in Manhattan NY where you dont get much of that anymore.. Ty always Doc you will be my dogs vet from now on! My dog had a lot of problems I came in to ideal pet and they were great. They saw us at the same day very caring staff. They diagnosed my dog with eye infection and they took care of it on the same day. Very offordable. They were great. I have recommended them to a lot of other pet owners and they are all very happy with them. Very personable and they loved my dog as if it was there own. I am never going to another place again

After a HORRIBLE experience at banfield vet in east harlem(horrible, horrible place and people) I was luck enough to find ideal vet. They are the absolute best! I wouldnt even consider taking my dog anywhere else. I cannot say enough good things about them.

Went there about one month ago. I have to say that i liked the attention they paid to my dog. I am a first time pet owner. The only thing was that i signed in at 2 and left at 6. The room is supper small. But great service and not that pricy.
