Living in several different cities the last couple of years, i have seen many different eye doctors. Dr. Alan Kurfirst is hands down the best one. During my initial appointment, he spent over an hour with my examining my eyes and vision. He educated me on why my eyes do better with a certain type of lens and how to properly take out and putting in a contact lens without ripping it. His entire staff is extremely professional and really sweet both on the phone upon making in a appointment as well as in person. Your eyes and vision are not something to take lightly, it is important to see a great doctor. I highly recommend :)

Very unfortunate experience with the front desk - a shame because Dr. Kurfist is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor. I would hope his patient-facing employees would mimic his demeanor. Unwilling to work with me so I could pick up a pair of new contacts before the weekend - you pay several hundred dollars for a year of unlimited contacts, but their hours are 9-5pm which makes it difficult if youre not frequently in the area. Overall, expensive and bad customer service.

Avoid at all costs. Dr. Kurfirst is kind, but tries to cheat you out for more money when you tell him you dont want to buy contacts from him. His front desk staff are unknowledgeable and disorderly, and are usually seen being yelled by both optometrists in front of patients. Its chaos, and I regret wasting my time here. Glad they charged both of my insurances though when I told them I didnt want to buy my contacts through them.
