Patchogue Family Medical Care is a healthcare facility located at 130 Medford Ave, Patchogue, NY 11772, USA. The organization has a rating of 3.8. The practice has grown significantly over the years and now employs a range of health professionals, making it easier for patients to get appointments.
Some patients have expressed dissatisfaction with the appointment scheduling process. They claim that the facility expects patients to know in advance when they will be sick, making it difficult to get same-day appointments. There are also complaints about the unresponsiveness of the appointment line.
On the flip side, the quality of medical care received is generally praised. Patients feel that the doctors are excellent and take the time to explain everything. The practice has been around for over 20 years and has seen growth in all positive aspects under its current leadership.
The office staff and nursing team are also commended for their professionalism. Patients feel listened to and cared for during their visits. The atmosphere is described as pleasant, with the office ladies appearing happy and well-coordinated.
The practice is lauded for its efficiency. Patients report that the in-and-out time for a visit is the quickest they have ever experienced. However, there are isolated reports of poor bedside manners and an over-reliance on medication prescriptions.

I never review anything, but I felt it was necessary for others to know what to expect when you go here. When youre a patient you will be seen by incredible doctors who know their stuff, if and when youre seen. I have not been to this office since December 2014, not by choice and not because I havent been sick, but because they expect you to know ahead of time that you will be. I really should have planned on waking up with bronchitis today so that I could have scheduled my appointment in advance, my mistake. My mom should have known she was getting a UTI days ahead of time so that she could actually be seen. Unfortunately, I have found myself adding $15 to my normal $35 co-pay to be treated by walk-in clinics, because even calling at 9 am isnt early enough to be seen at some time during the day. That is if they even answer their appointment line, but dont expect them to. I called 3 times in a span of 40 minutes and never spoke with a person. I left a message, and never received a call in return. In December 2014 I was seen within 3 hours because I called with excruciating pains in my side, maybe thats the trick. Lie. If youre a patient here, pretend youre in the worst pain of your life so that they have to give you an appointment within hours. But, if you have pink eye, bronchitis, strep throat, a sinus infection, or a UTI, make sure you know ahead of time that youre going to be sick, otherwise you will find yourself appointmentless, and now like me, without a PCP. Thank you Patchogue Family Medical for have phenomenal doctors, I wish I actually could have seen them. Now, my mom and I will finding a new doctor.

Ive been a patient here since it was the practice of Dr. Carlos Timm -- probably more than 20 years ago. I felt I received good care then, and certainly good care now. This practice has grown immensely (in all positive ways) under Dr. Christine Doucet, and theyve hired enough health professionals that it is never hard to get an appointment, even for non-emergencies. Although I havent had the opportunity to see/meet all the practitioners, I am totally confident and trusting of Dr. Doucet & Dr. Wong, as well as P.A.s Laura Gil & Lyndie Hughes. I always leave there feeling that Ive been listened to, and of course cared about. Their office workers and nursing staff are also excellent! (As a former secretary & also retired nurse, Id be remiss if I forgot them!) I intend to stay with Patchogue Family Med as long as I remain on Long Island.

So nice here! My whole family are patients there and each of us prefers a different doctor or physicians assistant. The ladies in the office always seem happy and like they really like each other which is a rarity in most other offices Ive been to. So glad my aunt suggested we go there (yes, she goes there too! My uncles life was saved by Doctor Doucet) Im of the opinion that if you are treated well by a store or office you should go on and review them since sometimes it seems that only the crankpots go on & leave bad reviews, so Im starting with someplace I really trust! Looking for a clean office with great staff? Here ya go!

I have been a patient at Patchogue Family Medical for over 12 years and I have always had a great experience. I have been seen by all of the different PAs and MDs and everyone of them have been excellent. The nurses and staff are always very pleasant and the doctors take the time to explain everything to you.

Recently moved to Maine. I was a patient for over 20 years. Started with Dr. Carlos Timm. The medical care in Maine doesnt even compare that of Patchogue Family Medical Care. Wish you could move up here!

Poor bedside manner; not interested in finding out what is wrong, only interested in prescribing lots of medications and hoping something works.
