It has been a few years since I have visited the Spinak Eye Center, however I have not been able erase the bad memories out of my mind. Seriously, I just signed up for a google account so that I could get this off my chest. I went there because my primary physician referred me. I was a 20-something having eye pain. Turns out, everything was fine (sinus/allergy trouble) and the doctor I saw was fine, but the staff was so incredibly rude I to THIS DAY cant believe how I was treated. I paid my co-pay when I left the office. Not long after, I received a bill for the co-pay. I called the office and spoke to a VERY RUDE woman. She insisted that I had not paid my co-pay. I told her I could mail her a copy of my credit card statement which shows I paid my co-pay. She said fine. So I took my time to copy and mail the credit card statement in. The next month, I got another bill. I called and spoke to a MOST RUDE WOMAN again who said I was going to have to come in. So, I took time out of my life to drive over to the office a few towns away with my credit card statement etc. STILL THIS RUDE WOMAN INSISTED THAT I OWED MONEY! She walked over to another lady (and didnt know I was following her) and started bad mouthing me to her. When she turned and saw that I was standing behind her she snapped at me, "I told you to wait over there!" Well, thankfully not all of the employees are as rude as this one woman as the lady she was ranting to saw that I had indeed paid my copay. Now the rude woman never came over and apologized and nice woman had to apologize to me. Seriously, I have never been treated so badly at an office. It was their mistake and I was forced to run around AND be harassed to try and rectify the situation. I never once gave this woman an attitude (why would I? I knew I was right!) I will never set foot in that building again unless it means I will go blind (and even then Id have to think about it)

With the exception of the receptionist, the staff are all rude. The billing person would not give me an itemized bill for my FSA first saying that the machines are all turned off so she could not generate one, and then going on to say that FSAs do not need an itemized receipt.

I went to many places trying to do lasick my eyes my friend refer me to Dr. Spinack I call and Carmela was so nice I decide to do it with them is the best decision I ever made in my life Im so happy.

I went to the Spinak Medical Eye Center and had a wonderful experience. The doctors were professional and caring, and the staff was friendly and accomodating.
