Gentle Touch Family Dentistry is THE BEST dental practice in the entire north country and if I could get them 100 stars, I definitely would!! The environment at this office is absolutely terrific and the staff at this office will go out of their way to ensure that you leave this office with a huge smile on your face (and thats not just because of their EXCELLENT dental work)! A lot of people come to dentists/doctors offices with a great fear that something could go wrong--believe me when I say this... this practices environment will NOT make you feel afraid or like youre going to--for lack of a better term--"die upon walking in the door." I feel so at peace when I visit this office, the staff is so friendly, my hygentist (Laael Johnson) is FANTASTIC, and whenever I leave, I always feel enthusiastic about coming back (this is coming from a someone who hates going to a doctors office of any kind). Everyone here, including their receptionist (Stevie) and their assistants (Holly, Heather, and Tammy), make me feel so happy and so excited when it comes time to go to the dentist! Ive personally had Dr. Szmigiel as my dentist since I was seven years old (even before she opened this practice) and I can honestly say that she doesnt make me afraid to go to the dentist. She, like everyone else at Gentle Touch, has such an amazing personality; she is very thorough with her work. I definitely recommend Dr. Szmigiel to anybody seeking a dentist. Whenever she or the hygentists work on you, they are VERY thorough in explaining what they are doing to you and in explaining what steps may need to be taken! The hygentists are very enthusiastic about the work that they do and are always ready and willing to teach you the "better" techniques when it comes to oral care! If you have any questions about the "things" inside your mouth, these are the people to ask! Everyone is so knowledgeable about oral hygiene, that there isnt a question you could ask that would stump this staff--even if you could, they would go out of their way to find the answer for you! Youre in good hands here! I promise! Recently, I had the opportunity to work with the offices newest doctor, Dr. Marjan Mohajer. At first, I was skeptical because Id worked with Dr. Szmigiel for so long--but after meeting Dr. Mohajer, I fell in love. Dr. Mohajer did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable working with her (especially since it was my first time, and we were doing a filling). Dr. Mohajers work was very thorough, her personality was beaming, and overall, she was very pleasant to work with. Whether you work with Dr. Szmigiel or Dr. Mohajer, I can garantee that you will leave completely satisfied!! This office is constantly growing and adapting to new technologies to better serve their guests. While getting your cleanings/fillings/whatever, theyll even let you watch ANYTHING YOU WANT on Netflix, or listen to anything you want on Pandora as they work on you! You will not find a better dental office in (dare I say) New York State! Even if I were to move away from the area, I believe that I would stay with this practice (even if I had to travel to get my cleanings)! You will not find a dentist office that is more cleaner, more friendlier, more well supplied, more technologically advanced, more well managed, or more wonderful than Gental Touch!! As a final note: I just want to add that theyll soon be moving to their new location across the street from the mall (where Blockbuster used to be located) sometime in July 2017! Im very excited for the new office!

I have been going to the same dentist for over 15 years and kept asking for treatment that she doesnt do. She referred me to Gentle Touch to see Dr. Szmigiel. Arriving for my consultation I was instantly happy. (Not to many say that going to a dentist, especially me) The atmosphere is great and the office is CLEAN! Not saying other offices are not but they are perfectionist when it comes to the way the office looks. I met with Dr. Szmigiel and I instantly felt welcome. She has the warmest smile and really understands what you as a patient and what you are looking for. I went there for reconstructive work starting on my front teeth. From the start to the finish I have never felt more comfortable. They met every need and more!! She transformed my smile in a way I could have dreamed of. I highly recommend this office for all needs. The entire staff is just wonderful, from billing, the hygienist, and the front staff! ❤️ I could go on and on, honestly. Make an apppintment and see for yourself, you wont regret it!

The staff at Gentle Touch are not only excellent at thier jobs, but they are downright wonderful people. Ive always been treated with the utmost respect and kindness by everyone I have had the pleasure of knowing. Dr. Marjan does a flawless job and her touch is truly gentle. Im always asked how Im feeling and if I need anything. Im provided with entertainment in the form or music or movies, but oftentimes I just like to enjoy the company of my dentist and hygienist. Even when Im not being the best patient, they are being the best providers to me. Im excited about the new office going up on Smithfield, since the office on Hammond lane is gorgeous, comfortable and classy as it is! I can only imagine what theyll create in the new space!

Nothing but excellence!! Friendly and personable staff. I recently had an accident and had to reschedule my appointment. Not only did they reschedule with no issues, they sent me a get-well card. They know you by name and treat you with great professionalism. I was beyond impressed with the information and knowledge the staff shared with me regarding my dental care. Staff take the time to get to know you. The office and waiting areas are beautifully maintained and clean. They have TVs to watch while you are in the chair. My very young nephew loves to go to Gentle Touch as well!

In addition to this, the office is both physically and emotionally accommodating to stress. With the soothing relaxing music and friendly smiling faces I knew that I was at the right place. Dr. Marjan Mohajer had a plan to accomplish all my dental needs.
