This is one of the worst dentists in the world and I want everyone to know about it so that you wont get scammed. I chipped my front tooth about 2 yrs ago and was desparate to fix ASAP. I was looking for a nearby office and the ones where they take my insurance. So I found this dental office and I liked the fact they do free full mouth xray on the first visit. The lady who took xray was very nice we talked about my college life and her son who is also a college student. Then i was lead to doctors office and she was very young and pretty seemed nice. Then she told me that I have 4 cavities and I need to have them treated. so she sent me to a receptionist to make next appointment. The receptionist gave me a piece of paper stating that I have 4 cavities and how much it will cost to fix them....$500 with insurance!! without insurance? over $1000!!! She told me that one of them is completely covered black and really bad....but she never told me or marked on the piece of paper she gave me which teeth had cavities. Thank god I was not stupid enough to take their word. I told them my schedule is not sure so I have to see about next schedule and walked out. I obviously did not have any cavities....matter fact they were super clean when I visited different dentist to fix my front tooth. I cannot believe stuff like this happens...where I am from originally, they never do stuff like this. Do not go to their dental offices!

I used to like this facility very much but I have to say that it is going down hill. There has been lots of staff changes and not for the better. The hygienist is still the same and VERY nice. There is one other front desk person who is nice when she knows its me. There are way to many cancellations without enough notice and now there is usually a wait time on top of that. They called me to cancel both my cleaning and checkup scheduled for the same day as I was walking in for the appointment. I come from an hour away and left work early to get there on time. Thankfully the hygienist took me anyway. The new Dentist was cold and the exam took 1 minute. It was as if he was looking for something to be wrong with my teeth. I felt fine and no pain. He said I needed to replace an old crown from years ago because it was done wrong. Maybe it was but it isnt giving me any problems so why fix what isnt broke. He told them up front to check if my insurance covers it so out of curiosity I waited and was told that because they didnt do it their surgeon wouldnt do it. So what was the point! Anyway this place is not the same anymore. Thankfully my teeth have been good and I usually only need a cleaning. If not I would probably start looking elsewhere.

The staff is great and they are very friendly and such but I feel they could do much better with the wait times and appointment structure. I had a 9 oclock and got there at 8:50. I then watched 4 others come in behind me, sign in on the same sheet I did and get called back before me. I was only there for a check up (which is another annoyance). I missed a couple of cleaning dates and suddenly I have to have a consultation check-up before they will do a cleaning. In addition I now need a two stage cleaning so I have to come in twice just to get a cleaning and my teeth are really not any worse than normal. I was actually told this was the process before they even did the check up. I have had many dentists over the years and this is the first time I have had to have three appointments to do a cleaning. Another thing I never liked was that I have to request a check up with a cleaning. This was always a given at any other dentist I have gone to.

A one star is too generous. The great reviews was what left me to book my first appointment. I arrived five minutes early to my appointment to just sit for 29 minutes to be told that unfortunately due to their X rays not working they couldnt see me today and if I wanted to reschedule for another day. Had anyone of the ladies at the reception area bother to greet me, look up towards me or even looked at the waiting area, I would have rescheduled. They just had me sit there for 29 minutes. When I brought up the lack of attention or even a courtesy call earlier to reschedule, they only responded with a bad attitude that they were extremely busy. Meanwhile prior I had left my busy work flow to arrive to my appointment. Working for a medical facility, there are always busy moments but there is no excuse for horrible customer service or even no attempt to redeem after the patient or potential patient voices their frustration.

If I could give "zero" stars I would. Their oral surgeon had terrible bedside manner and seemed as though he didnt care enough to try and help me. After only a minute and a few gloved finger pokes he told me nothing was wrong, despite my growing pain, and if I wanted help to go elsewhere. He actually refused to use any additional techniques to diagnose the source of my pain and swelling. I ultimately left untreated feeling desperate for a resolution to a problem that has only grown worse in the weeks Ive waited to see him. His lack of care stood out - absolutely no desire to help me in any way.

Every employee I have had the pleasure to meet at Aspen Dental is kind, gentle, considerate of my situation, compassionate, knowledgeable, focused, interested in me as a patient and a person, and is willing to go the extra bit to resolve any issue I might have. When I had to have a tooth removed, I was nervous, but the staff was excellent and I left saying, "That was easier than I thought". The Poughkeepsie Aspen Dental is a place you can sink your teeth into. (Sorry the joke just popped out). I recommend them highly. Pastor Tony DiUglio, D.Min.

This office is one of the most unorganized and unprofessional offices Ive ever been to. They called to confirm my appointment I show up and apparently their dental hygienist is on vacation. Excuse me not once but twice you do this why bother to confirm my appointment. Best part is after speaking to my co-workers this seem to be a common practice of theirs. Good Job Aspen Dental I will be sure to pass the word!

Great place for the most part, except I had a dentist Who only gave 30 seconds for a exam then said nothing. Then when I got to check out the lady said I will need gingervitus cleaning a 2 part cleaning not covered by insurance. Very unprofessional by a very uncaring dentist cant believe they let her practice their. The overall Staff was pretty good though.

All office staff, dentists and dental assistants are always super nice. I absolutely hate going to the dentist but the staff and dentisits there make it pleasant and also dont make you feel terrible if you have a lot of problems with your teeth. Overall a good experience and would recommend to others.
