With a "doctor" at Strong Health, Id gone from a Resurfacing; or partial hip replacement (metal on metal ), then was being poisoned by Chromium & Cobalt, had a revision surgery to a full replacement dislocated 4 times, & had to be sedated to get the femoral head back in place. One of my brothers is a foot, ankle and leg surgeon in Georgia, but I couldnt fly with an unstable hip. Then I found Dr. Klotz! A miracle! So, he put in a new socket, I flew to Georgia, & Len did his magic. Oh, did I mention that during the revision surgery, a resident, whod never done a hip before, was allowed to do mine, Unsupervised!! Dr.C.D. was off doing whatever, the resident dislocated my hip, unsupervised, didnt keep the leg bent at the knee , and overstretched the sciatic nerve, giving me permanent damage and pain. Its called Foot Drop , it is extremely painful, and one loses Doris flexion in that foot. So tripping becomes a constant daily activity. Such fun falling on your face, snapping your neck, hell, I already had several herniated disks, whats a few more?!!! Dr.C.D should not be allowed to practice medicine! That was HIS OR (OPERATING ROOM ) HIS RESPONSIBILITY FOR EVERY PERSON IN THAT ROOM, especially his patient!! Dont you agree? Well, "informed consent " says it is otherwise!! Dr.C.D got away with NOT paying attention or supervising HIS resident! And Im left with "Its not that bad, nerves DO regenerate!" Right docs, every orthopedic doc came in to see me that day feeding me the bullshit about regeneration, except Dr.C.D., he came to my room at 11:45 pm, my surgery was at 7:00 am!!!!! Now about an hour after I awoke in MY room, not in the recovery room, like every other patient, another unexpected, caring doc entered my room, the anestegologist, Dr. Robert Johnson, with an IV setup and a morphine calculated drip. He himself put in the IV and gave me instructions, and also gave the nurses instructions. He could have called the floor with this, but he cared enough to do it himself. You are awesome Dr. J!! Long story short, I found Dr. Klotz, and hes the only one who will come near my hips, knees,and/or whatever. Well, thatsounds my story, with PT, Ive been tripping less, but I think my knees need some attention! Dr. Klotz is awesome!

Ive had bilateral knee replacements, and had a wonderful experience. Had hip replacement in late January 2015, and still have had no post op visit with the doctor. Ive been rescheduled multiple times, always with another 6 to 8 week interval. Here I am, seven months post-op with continuing pain and weakness issues, and still waiting to see my doctor post-op. Ive been with Dr. Klotz since he started in Rochester. I admire his skills, and adore his PA, but the office leaves much to be desired.

At my appointment with Dr. Klotz I was refused a glass of water by the attending nurse and spoke to the Doctor in a near faint. I did the best I could in my dehydrated condition but was not strong enough to contribute my experience and the diagnosis of other physicians to his interpretation of my X-rays. He claimed the only treatment for my knee injury is aspirin. After I was refused a drink of water I suspected, and this was confirmed, he would make no effort on behalf of my wellness.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Klotz for my total knee replacement. Hes a fine surgeon & gives patients ample discussion time. I completed my surgery 8 weeks ago & Im walking fine without a limp and no pain. Before surgery, I had spoken with over 6 former patients of Dr. Klotz & they all had successful knee replacements. I highly recommend him & will have my right knee in another year.

I have been his patient since the early 90s. If he wasnt the best doctor for my needs I would have left to find a more caring doctor. Dr. Klotz actually takes the time to listen which is very important to any patient. . And he doesnt look at tbe clock to see if he has spent too much time with you

Wonderful surgeon! I had two hip replacements. He is great on following-up on patients. Only problem is that it is very tedious, time consuming, and frustrating trying to get through to his office on the phone!
