For the third time with emergency issues, I was not contacted. In the past when I had an infection an employee told me I could not be seen unless I was at the office at 7 AM. Otherwise I had to wait over a week.I am disabled and need to get transportation which is not available at 7 AM. On another occasion I had severe pain and a lump above a tooth. I was told I didnt get answered because I had Magic Jack on my phone. I DO NOT. I am getting treatment for osteoporosis and that makes me vulnerable to severe jaw infections and thats why I worried about the two times I had an infected tooth and ultimately needed both pulled. There were four occasions that I needed medication. The second time I called after hours, I was told the dentist was given the wrong spelling of my name. What about my birth date, was that wrong too??? and, why did the office know on Monday I had called?? This past experience I was dealing with an infected tooth, finally was seen and put on antibiotics, which ran out BEFORE the extraction. The area was getting infected as soon as I stopped the medicine. Therefor, I needed three hypos of numbing agent and had the extraction. Was NOT put back on antibiotics. By day three the pain and swelling got much worse, the pain was excruciating and radiated to my mandible joint to under my chin and had swollen glands. Called emergency number Thanksgiving week and was not answered. I lost my Thanksgiving, could not eat or sleep and ultimately landed me in Strong Memorial Emergency. I was given a double dose of the antibiotic I was previously given. I had tickets to Miracle on 34th Street and spent the day in the hospital instead. Then they call me Monday having seen the call I made and asked me if I wanted to come in. The extraction was on Monday Nov. 21st, I got answered Monday Nov. 28th.

Came in at 8 AM for an 8 AM appointment. Staff did not have badges on (part pf their uniforms). The receptionist had a tattoo on her arm. She was rude upon checking in my daughter. Stated we had a balance due. My wife asked for an itemized bill, she gave her a balance on a post-it note. Waited until 8:57 AM, asked the receptionist how far behind can an 8 am appointment be she stated that our appointment was for 9AM. Played back the reminder voice mail from her office to confirm our 8 AM appointment. She asked if we wanted to reschedule. Unbelievable. Dentist is great. Office staff is ruining her practice. We wont be back.

Staff is extremely nice and kind and theyre just very fun nice people to be around which makes the experience of not liking going to the dentist a lot easier and much more comfortable. Definitely a good experience going to this doctors office. They are just naturally nice people all around from the person that cleans your teeth to the dentist that does work on your teeth to his assistant, everybody there is very friendly very understanding and very nice. Great experience

If you have questions or concerns you need to call the insurance commissioner. People have legitimate concerns and unless you report Drs they will continue their nonsense. Report them. Take the time. Its also worth it to notify the attorney general with issues. I understand its a pain but seriously they are getting paid for things that shouldnt be happening. If you dont report them they wont get looked at. Just do it!

Its extremely sad I went to unity Penfield 5 years ago I had to cancel one apt and the was hospitalized for another , i was dropped by this office. It disturbs me that unity has bought them since now I cant go to the unity ridgeway office because of the oter office, I wish I could give you no stars.I am so disappointed in this policy.

Horrible dental work been in there 4 times 1 emergency still in pain and now having issues with a another filling done in a month ago. Over heard dentist tell little girl (like 7) in room next to me by herself (the mom was in the waiting room with younger child) if she doesnt brush her teeth she can pull all her teeth out for her.
