My dental treatment experience at Dr. Calians office was about as close to perfection as you can find. I moved from Boston and he came highly recommended. The staff was all courteous and attentive. There was really no wait to speak of and the receptionist made the intake process a breeze - even the paperwork was pretty minimal compared to other dentists that Ive visited. The office is extremely clean and everything was in its place with beautiful artwork and soothing music to take away that typical anxiety that I get at dentists offices. Once I met Dr. Calian, I could understand why every office/staff detail was so meticulously cared for - hes clearly a perfectionist, which I really prefer when it comes to my cosmetic dentist. He was thorough in his explanations of everything and really seemed to care about his work and how I was feeling - making sure that I didnt feel a thing with my extensive dental work which included some deep fillings and a crown. I always have pain at the dentist because Im resistant to the anesthesia and he was able to fully treat me without feeling anything! I was able to get my teeth cleaned, have a full examination and even start treatment on my first visit. It was really important for me that the process was as efficient as it was because I dont have time for endless visits. The other thing was that he didnt seem to up-sell me which most dentists do and that really made me trust him. About the only negative was that I parked on the street at a meter and ended up getting a parking ticket but then I found out that they offer free parking in the building. Doh! All in all, a great experience and Ill be going to Dr. Calian for all my care from now on.

Sadly I havent been to the Dentist in years because of my past painful experiences and fears. But recently I had no choice because I was in some excruciating pain that couldnt be ignored any longer. So after a lot of internet research I learned about Dr. Calian and his excellent team. From my very first consultation, I knew I was in great hands. I was literally terrified before I entered the office and by the time I left, I was at total ease. I actually looked forward to the next visit which was going to involve a lot of massive work. But because all my concerns and fears were personally addressed by Dr. Calian, all my anxiety was now gone. Carla and everyone else there were very friendly, gentle and sympathetic so I knew everything was going to be alright as they promised. When I came back a week later, it was even better than the initial consultation. Despite the extent of all the work (root canal, tooth extraction, gum work) that had to be done by 3 different dentist, I felt no pain whatsoever which was amazing . You name it and it was probably done to me. lol But again I felt no pain! It was to the point that the staff and I were cracking jokes as they worked on me. My experience there has totally changed my view of dentist and the industry as a whole. I will now look forward to seeing Dr. Calian and his wonderful team and Im confident that anyone that needs any major or minor work done will feel the same way. Their accolades are well deserved and true! So if youre terrified of dentist and pain, rest assured that your fear is uncalled for when working with Dr. Calian and his team!

My parents, brother, sister and I have gone here since I was 5 years old. Calian originally had exceptional service. In latest years, I have been disgusted and disappointed by their service, courtesy and decency; doctors (as my mother is one) should have a manner of generosity and sincerity--and Calian has lost it. The prices they gave and the nonchalant attitude in changing the pricing in front of me, disregarded loyalty to their service (both with and without--out of pocket-- insurance). When I asserted I was leaving despite my insurance now covering them, they attempted to change the harm done-- which shows they had no interest in courtesy or decency until I stated I was finished with them. As a young adult now, I am very disappointed and not returning. In addition, if you get your wisdom teeth removed by their oral surgeon, be very firm in your decision. They attempted to change my decision of no sedation numerous times and 2hours before my set appointment. Their oral surgeon, had the 3 of us. He showed insincerity and a snotty attitude till he was confronted by my mother (a doctor as well). Again, there is a way doctors should act to their customers-- and Calian has lost it.

I used to go to White Plains Dental care on Mamaroneck ave. and it was horror. The hygienist scratched my mouth up taking x-rays multiple times, and the dentist himself did such a poor job filling a minor a chip that he had to refill it twice in one month also leaving the surface of my tooth very bumpy and scratched. Thats why I switched to Calian Dental. I have had work done by Dr. Calian twice. The first experienced I had with him was more than amazing. After being traumatized from my previous dental experience, Dr. Calian not only smoothed out fixed the surface of my tooth from the damage the previous doctor did, Dr. Calian fixed the chip and it has been strong without falling out for 6 months now where before with the previous doctor it fell out twice in one month. My second experience with Dr. Calian was a cavity filling which was done to perfection. He also balanced my pallet by making sure all teeth were the same height as the corresponding tooth. Making my smile even and perfect. Dr. Calian is truly an ARTIST OF TEETH.

The care here is the best Ive ever known. Dr. Calian and his staff are all knowledgeable and thorough, and always take care to make sure Im comfortable. I had a lot of dental problems when I first came to Dr. Calian and he was able to fix all the damage, mostly due to neglect of previous dentists, without causing me any pain whatsoever. I recommended Dr. Calian to my husband, who left his dentist in Manhattan, and is also impressed with the office and the care they provide.

Everyone at Dr. Calians office is professional, welcoming, and flexible. I am always impressed by the dental care I am provided and the expertise that Dr. Calian, the assistants, and the dental hygienists have. What makes a successful dental office is also the dental technicians they work with. Audent Dental in New City, NY created my crown and I am amazed at how real it looks and how it matches my teeth exactly! Thank you Calian Dental and Audent Dental Lab!
