Will NEVER take my dog here again. She was put on an extremely high dosage of thyroid med and she was going into thyrotoxicosis. After speaking with the on staff vet for the drug manufacturer, she told me to immediately lower the dosage. My dog was put on TWICE the recommended dosage by Town & Country. When I called their office to let them know what was happening, he actually argued with me and said he was going by the book. Had I not called the drug manufacturer, I believe our dog wouldve died. Shes now on a dosage that is way less and has great thyroid levels. Just because youve been practicing for 20+ years doesnt mean that you can ignore a drug manufacturers recommended dosage.
