I was in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy on my first visit. It went well enough, but I did not have a good experience on subsequent visits. It is apparent that the dentist and oral surgeon do not communicate with one another here. Im not sure anyone communicates effectively at this practice. Im not pleased with my care, or lack there of. There were discrepancies and mistakes on their part because of the lack of communication and what I can only imagine was a poor review of my file. The oral surgeon did not know I was seen by the dentist that is employed there, did not know she had tried unsuccessfully to extract my infected tooth(which is why I was seeing him), and did not know I was no longer pregnant (even though I filled out my health form days before, stating this). Because of the poor communication I was left to only assume what the oral surgeon was going to do. I assumed he would do one of two things: use nitrous oxide or put me to sleep for the extraction. So, I did not eat or drink anything starting the night before the appointment. I paid the agreed upon amount and waited for my services. The oral surgeon informed me that he had made a mistake in not knowing that the dentist there had already been "mucking around in there" as he put it. He told me I would have to pay an additional fee for him to do one of two things: nitrous oxide(he was not comfortable with doing that) or sedation. Just as I thought, I had two options, and I was lead to believe the agreed upon payment I gave them would cover this. When I did not have the additional fee I was given the option of being referred to a local surgeon. I still have not received information on this. I did receive part of my money back and will get the rest in the mail. Im left scratching my head and with a throbbing infected tooth!!

I am a fifty one year old heart patient who also has diabetes. Since I was diagnosed with these illnesses I have experienced many visits to many medical care places, as I have lived in many parts of the country. I wish to state, without any doubt in mind, that the best medical service I have ever experienced has been, and will continue to be, as I have a series of procedures to go through, at my local Dothan, Alabama Aspen Dental. Never have I been treated so much like a person and not a number. Dr. Robinson, the hygienist Becky, and dental assistant Reeta made me feel at so at home, relaxed, and certain that I was in caring hands. I would also like to mention the very special help I received from the front desk consultant Ashley. As I said prior I have some serious health problems and had to rearrange a couple of appointments. I hate doing that because I always feel guilty about abusing someones time management, but Ashley put me at ease, and handled my dilemma with kindness and efficiency. Last, but certainly not least I wish to give strong and trumpet blowing accolades to the office manager Kali. She has governed over all of my concerns with a unique reassurance given with authetic care in her special way, that quit candidly I must say is the best I have ever seen from anyone in her position. Shes simply the best of the best. I will continue to post of my experiences with your company as my necessary visits occur in hope that my few words help to sustain, and recognize the most outstanding medical staff, of any kind, that has ever serviced my needs. Thanks to All. Patrick Saunders

The the"office manager " KELLY is VERY incompetent, unprofessional and rude. I have no idea how Kelly even landed that job because she doesnt have the patience or intelligence to talk to patients in the right manner. She hung up in my face and accused me of yelling at her when I did call back, which I eventually did do to show her the difference between speaking and yelling. She apparently lied to the Dr about what was said on the phone. Maybe she would have heard me had she done her job and listened and not tried to keep talking over me and assuming she already knew what I was calling for. She will DEFINITELY SINGLE HANDEDLY ruin Dothan Alabamas office reputation . Had she listened she would have known I was planning to come get the necessary work done by Aspen Dental. The medicine I was provided did NOT work so I was actually calling to try to get something scheduled right away to prevent me from having to restart a round of medication. Because of her incompetencey level Aspen dental will not be getting my $5000. I will be going to a local dentist who has to actually care about thier patients to stay in business . Before long hopefully they will fill that office space with some type of business that hires competent workers, and I can stop by and patronize on my way from spending my money at local Dentist with a competent " office manager" Aspen Dental should let the lady who goes over treatment plans with paients be the office manager. SHE was very pofessional, kind, knowlegeable and understanding . Kelly, you should stick to vacuuming the office and letting her Train you in her spare time until you learn how to do your job correctly.

So Im sitting here with a broken molar and pain. I call this dentist because I had done an exam for extensive cosmetic dentistry a few years ago. The estimate was more than I could afford so I decided to wait. But I called because they had a Panorex, etc. The ad in the Yellow Pages said "emergencies welcome." This was at 12:00 today. The lady on the phone IN THE DOTHAN location couldnt find my records and promised to call me back. Not having heard anything for a couple of hours, I called back to the local number and ended up on the phone with a corporate call center. They couldnt find me on record either and put me on hold, looked and came back on the line saying they could not find my records but would put me through to the Dothan location. I held for a few minutes more, and another person in the call center eventually picked up, as if I had just called in. Enough. This is a ridiculous customer service model, especially when someone informs you that they are in pain.

Worst dentist Ive ever seen. Had an emergency over the weekend. I called the office 4 times before the doctor returned my call. She was screaming and completely unprofessional before even asking for my symptoms or the fact Im running a fever and cant eat. This is the worst pain Ive ever experienced. These people shouldnt be aloud to practice with this kind of attitude. Never ever will I step foot in this hostile environment. Not to mention she stabbed my gums and made me bleed because she was talking to someone else.
