Surgery went well, when I woke up in ICU the nurse let me sit shivering for 3hrs in a wet bloody gown until the shift change. The nurse that evening, Jayce, was kind and helpful, but the ICU desk was so loud at 3:00am that not only could I not sleep, but I had to sit up and crank the volume up to 100% in order to drown out the senseless and disrespectful noise at that hour. The nurses that came in the next morning were satisfied doing the bare minimum and gave attitude when asked for assistance or information, I was expected to use the restroom on a chair into a bedpan infront of the helpdesk with the door and the curtain wide open open. Sorry but I was raised with manners. I was then passed onto the next awful nurse with two request: "I aked if I could shower and not have an Ive in the crook of my right arm. 35hrs later no shower and a bleeding iv in the right arm. Both request to shower and have this Iv moved have been denied and passed on to the next incompetent" . Worth is the most worthless nurse I have ever met! Coming out of ICU my vitals were never checked, I was made to fill out a fall risk form and confined to my bed without access to use the restroom and forced to wait 45min to an hr before I was helped. The worst of all was that I went 6hrs after major mascular surgey without any pain medication due to Worths incompetence. She spent more time making excuses and trying to get around her work instead of spending that time finding a solution. She did not hook up the medication correctly and it ran out of the pump onto the floor, when confronted she was unwilling to accept responsibility for her actions, even after she was called out infront of the Dr., her reply was: "Well...what happened was". She had told him a completely different version outside the room not thinking I would bring it up with the Dr in the room. My next nurse was Jonothan

I was at the ER for about 7 hours on 2/27. I was so impressed with my care. My nurse, Amanda, was amazing and deserves recognition for her concern for her patients. Even though the ER was very busy, she was extremely attentive to my needs. I went in very nauseated, and within minutes I was getting something for that. She also checked on me frequently because she knew I really did not feel well and was in a lot of pain. She explained all of the tests that they had to run, and made sure I understood what was going on. I am a very hard person to start and IV in, but she got it on the first try and I honestly felt no pain. I can go on and on about her care, but the one thing that really impressed me as going above and beyond....she knew my husband had to leave work to take me to the ER. She also knew this was a concern. When she brought my check-out papers, she brought him a work excuse. We did not even have to ask. I wish I could name everyone who cared for me, but I cant remember all of their names. The x-ray technician, the CT scan technician, the lab technician, the Nurse Practitioner, and even the triage nurses were all extremely nice, and gentle. Another nurse that came by to check on me was Allie. She was also very, very sweet and took care of my needs. I was also very impressed when the pharmacist came to see me to make sure he was giving me the proper medicine. I have never had that happen before. If I could give you all a grade for this visit, I would definitely give you an A+. Thank you for taking such good care of me. God bless you all!!

Baptist east is by far the best hospital in this area. Other hospitals just guessed at what was going on with me and guessed wrong. My situation had gotten so bad that when I made it to baptist east they had to keep me there 5 days. They took great care of me and Ill never forget it! If you or your loved one is having medical problems dont waste your time or risk your health with the other hospitals because they are a joke. Do it right the first time and just go on to baptist east. You might have to wait longer in the er but its worth it. I thought about leaving because it was taking so long (they were super busy) but I thought maybe thats a good sign that they are thorough and Im so glad I stayed. I could have gotten worse and possibly died but baptist health took care of me! I hope God continues to bless that hospital and everyone that works there!

I recently had to have an unpleasant scheduled exam done for my health at the Endoscopy Center. With that being said, one can say everything will be viewed with details over the stress of the process to come. I would like to take a moment and say "Thank You!" Especially to some of the staff who took part in my process, Kelly, Kelly, Claire and Carmon. I know there are more, but I was conscious when I met these wonderful people. I am not saying everyone should have this process done, but in the event where time dictates otherwise, you will at least have some great people who will take the time to take care of you as best as possible. Thank you again:)

The worst staff ever. The nurse who took my blood tied the rubber band on my arm and left it then she went to prepare the other things; dude my veins wanted to burst with pain. Then, the other nurse who did the IV for me stuck the needle wrong and I noticed that the solution is not moving and felt pain in my arm. The other thing was that I was freezing, and the nurses didnt bother themselves even giving me a third extra blanket; they thought two are very enough. The first and last thing was that I waited almost 3 hours to get inside the ER room and more one hour for the physician to see me.

Worst experience ever at a hospital. My 90 year old aunt who was admitted April 15 was not bathed until the 18th when her sitters with Answer Prayers bathed her. The monitors would go off but they would not check on her until we called them even though at one time the pulse reading was zero. They never checked her diapers. I got a attitude from several employees if I questioned her care including the charge nurse. A bandage on her heal for a compression sore was never changed, making it worse. It might be OK if you only need a band aid but not for anyone needing serious medical care.

I dont know how the "hospital stay" part of it is, I was not admitted. But...I had a CT scan done, paid my co-pay & still owed approximately $75. I sent them $20/month, and received a phone call the end of January asking about my account & when it would be paid. I told the lady that I would pay it on February 1 when I got paid. Balance of $35. The same day that I made arrangements to pay it, they sent it to a collection agency. My account was paid in full on February 2. They ended up having to pay more to hire the collection agency than what they actually got off of the account.
