I was sorry to read the above review. As military also, my family has been treated wonderfully by Dr. Hudson and his staff. We were barely established patients (had taken our two young daughters there one time) - When my 4 YO fell off the playset on a Saturday and bit completely through her tongue. Dr. Hudson spared us an ER visit by coming to his office at 7:00 at night to clean it out and evaluate it. He gave us good advice to leave it be, vs. sending us to a specialist or trying to put in stitches himself. He was right, it was healed in days and he didnt charge us an outrageous after hours/emergency fee I am sure we would have experience anywhere else. Since then, hes continued to give conservative advice and do excellent dental work. I just got a Crown put on (it was much needed) and I feel back to 100% less than 24 hours later, and it looks beautiful. I absolutely hate the dentist, but somehow Dr. Hudson and his staff make it a little better. I am thankful to have found this practice and our whole family enjoys our visits.

Dr Hudson and his staff are caring professionals! I appreciate that I am always seen on time and that reminders are sent out multiple times so one does not forget the appointment. My hygienist is so kind and never berates me for my lack of flossing, but gently reminds me how important it is. My sons have often used the nitrous oxide (laughing gas) when faced with a daunting procedure, and I am glad that it is available for a minimal cost. The front desk staff are also very helpful with the insurance and making appointments, even going the extra mile to call us in if there is a cancellation. And finally, Dr Hudson is the best. He takes the time to talk to us about our teeth but also is interested in what is going on in our lives. Even though no one really likes going to the dentist, I am glad that we have Dr Hudson and his staff take care of us when its time for those cleanings, and sometimes the dreaded cavities. :)

Best dentist in the state of Alabama!! I had an emergency and needed a dentist asap- he scheduled me in and took care of my teeth and was super honest and upfront about all my dental needs. A dentist can say whatever and the patient doesnt know any better and gives in to whatever procedure or recommendation, here at Bell Road family dentistry every step was explained and why and my input was appreciated in the care of my own teeth. Excellent dentist, Id recommend him to anyone and everyone!!

Wonderful experience. I had a chipped crown, called them as soon as it happened and they were able to work me in that day to look at it and fixed it the following day. Dr. Hudson was very caring and professional, and did great work. His staff was just as wonderful. They were very helpful with my 2 and 4 year olds that I had to take along. Highly recommend!!
