The Dr here who did my exam was very nice and helpful, at time of my visit I have no complaints however when I got my new contacts home and wore them for a few weeks they started to make my eyes feel like they were wrapped in sandpaper, I changed contact solutions a few times in hopes of comfort, which never happened. I finally called the office and asked to exchange them, they had told me that they had already billed my insurance and no exchanges are availabe but they could return one box for me--not one set, one box -- so I finally went in to get my return money back (since I had paid cash for that 1 box) and asked again if they could take back the set, which was unopened-- they told me that one box was only approved to be returned and if they took back the second box they would be loosing money-- well what about all the money I have to spend on a new set of contact lenses since you already billed my insurance-- I am out more then you would be if you returned or exchanged my 1 extra unopened box. Anyways the customer service portion of this place is not very "customer servicy" the younger male dr was nice but I think thats the end of my satisfaction. Wont be returning or giving any recommendations. Because now I am out of my eye insurance allowance and out of contact lenses.

THIS DOCTOR IS A CROOK!!! This is my first review EVER!! Dont like to give reviews, but I feel I have to tell my story to prevent anyone else from getting robbed/scammed from this business (Desert Eye Care, in Maricopa AZ). Scheduled an eye exam for BOTH contacts and glasses about a couple months ago. Staff even confirmed the exam would be for BOTH contacts/glasses. But she didnt exam me for both, only glasses. The doctor gave me a contact prescription even though she DIDNT check me for contacts! She gave me the wrong prescription for my contacts on purpose... Simply because I told her I didnt want to order my contacts from her, only my glasses. I know this because I had another eye doctor confirm it! Wish I had that confirmation BEFORE I ordered my new contacts that I had ordered from another place!! Plus they gave me a REALLY hard time to get my contact prescription, even though I had PAID EXTRA to get that prescription order. What makes matters worse is that I ordered special contacts with the prescription she gave me, and now Im stuck with the wrong contacts for me! What is most upsetting is that myself and my family were costumers/patients of theirs for 3 years! We trusted them... Desert Eye Care has lost our business for good!! Never again.

Both my husband and I go to Dr Lawrence for our eye care. Dr Lawrence is very professional and knowledgable. The thing I love the most is that she listens to all my questions and concerns and makes sure she answers all my questions to my satisfaction. She has a way to explain everything in very understandable terms. The office staff is thorough and friendly and the office setting is new. I recommend going to Dr Lawrence if you want overall great eye care.

I went to Desert Eye Care for the first time a couple of weeks ago when I found out they took my insurance. I have worn glasses and contacts for the last 25 years, have moved a lot, and so have had a number of different eye care providers. I was so pleased with Desert Eye Care! The entire staff is professional, and personable, and Dr Lawrence is friendly, knowledgeable, and she takes as much time with you as needed. I highly recommend Desert Eye Care!

Bad service a lot of money . I have diabetes so my I eye sight change so l return my classes and got just reading glasses and I spend a lot of money for them on the first pair.I never got payed back the difference. The manager was very rude and nasty mean dont go there not worth it, way to much money. The owner and the girl ,that just had here baby was very very very nice I still have problems to see. I didnt get the help in needed bad place

I am 65 years old and have needed glasses since I was 6. I have been in numerous states throughout my career and had numerous complications with vision and retina problems. I have seen many eye Doctors and Dr. Lawrence is the most thorough and professional dr I have ever been too. Dr. Lawrence makes sure to take the time to explain everything to me and answer any questions I have. The staff is friendly and helpful as well.

Doctor was okay. April who generally answers the phone is very rude and unprofessional. When I picked up my glasses the woman who would normally make sure the adjustment, etc. was in line, refused to come out and April then filled in for her. April refused to sit down which I found offensive and ill-mannered. Hate to call in because she always answers the phone. BOOO.

Their pricing and selection of frames and lenses is excellent, and I have always received my glasses quickly and exactly as I have ordered them. Friendly and professional from reception, through the Dr. to the selection of frames. I declined to purchase on the spot in order to price shop online and that was pleasantly accepted. In the end I ordered through them as online was such a hassle for only a $30 savings.
