Phoenix Eye Care is amazing! Dr. Steinhauser, Angelina, and the staff at Phoenix Eye Care are the most professional, friendly, and helpful optometry practice you will ever find. Consider this: I am a keratoconus sufferer which means my corneas are very thin. For the past 15 years my best corrected vision made it impossible to read street signs (until it was too late to turn), and computer work required zooming up all text (most of my job). Before becoming a patient at Phoenix Eye Care, my contact lenses were a compromise of fit, comfort, and vision correction. Basically, I struggled with any fine print or detail work and distance vision was fuzzy and non-descript. I subscribe to The National Keratoconus Foundation newsletter. Dr. Epstein had written a letter that caught my attention. I made an appointment to see them and to my surprise they got me right in. Moreover, Dr. Steinhauser gave me a 2.5 hour exam. This lady is incredible!! She fit and measured and tested, and fit and measure and tested over and over until she was confident in the assessment. She concluded that my contacts were ill fitting and recommended glasses only, for a few days. Upon another 2.5 hour re-exam, she recommended scleral lenses. These lenses have restored my vision to 20/20! Im amazed to be able to see well again. In addition to obtaining outstanding corrected vision, every aspect of Phoenix Eye Care is first rate. They use the most high-tech equipment and provide the best possible care. They are very friendly, patient, and dedicated. THANK YOU DR. STEINHAUSER!!

My family is serviced by the entire staff at Phoenix Eye Care. From the moment you walk, you feel welcomed. Dr. Steinhauser is extremely knowledgeable in her practice. I had RK done before Lasik was invented back in the stone age. After 10 years my vision began to regress. I ended up with a very near sighted eye and one very far sighted eye which cause severe migraine headaches. Dr. Steinhauser worked with me until she exhaust all alternatives to help correct my vision. She tried all variation of contacts and lenses. Then she tried some more. I am now in a pair of Shaw Lenses that work fabulously. A little on the high end but worth every penny not to have headaches. ~Thank you Dr. Steinhauser Angelina Newton worked with my 13 year old frustrated daughter who said she couldnt put on contact until she got it. She didnt allow her to give up even when she didnt want to try any longer. She had so much patience with her and now my daughter lives with comfort in her contact lenses.~ Thank you Angelina

Doctors Steinhäuser and Epstein are both amazing and caring. When I had an eye emergency over the weekend they treated me, then gave me a number to call at any hour of the night in case it got worse and opened up the office on a Sunday for a special follow-up. Their office has some of the latest technology and methods available that are not standard elsewhere. If I had not found them and was able to get a special bandage lens for my eye I may have lost sight due to the trauma as they are one of the very few who keep them in stock. I could not recommend them more highly.

From the moment I walked in to the moment I paid for my glasses was a great experience. I went there for my first pair of glasses with them yesterday and they made me feel welcome, like family. Dr. Epstein thoroughly explained the test results with me. The front office staff actually helped me to pick out my glasses what would be a great fit for me. Dr. Stein hauser is very nice and knowledgeable as well. She was able to explain my benefits to me in detail and what my best options were. Ive found my new optometrists and I wont be going anywhere else.

I was legally blind from karataconus and never saw my children, never had a quality job and Phoenix eye care took me in, fit me perfectly with gas perm contact lenses and gave me 20/20 vision. Not only are they the best but they really care and spent long hours with my insurance to drop the price of my contacts from $2500.00 to $250.00. They WILL help you because they care. My quality of life is 100% better. I have a good career now and enjoy seeing my children grow up and its because of Phoenix Eye care.

I absolutely love this place!!! I would recommend it to every one. The whole staff is funny,friendly,knowledgeable and professional all in one. They specialize in many fields of the eye . They had my contacts in stock for my trials to wear( no one ever dose because i wear Toric lenses) It was the best experience Ive had the eye doctor in a loooooooog time, its a shame i only get one exam a year I adore the staff at Phoenix Eye Care.

I love the doctors here and the staff. Everyone is always friendly especially the girls at reception. I am really bummed they dont take my new insurance. They are so good at their jobs and welcoming that I would consider paying cash just for a pleasant experience.

This office is incredible. Both doctors are very thorough and take a lot of time to make sure you understand the health of your eye. I was able to get in fairly quickly and they have some Saturday appointments which works around my schedule.
