Very overpriced. Billing department does not know how to work with insurance. My insurance covers one visit a year. They could not bill it in a way that United Health Care could accept. In the end they billed me $245 for a first time eye exam for my daughter. All out of pocket. Most doctors charge far less. Then my daughter wanted to switch to a contact. They made me come back and pay another $120 Dollars for a contact visit, which consisted of them using a machine to measure her eye, and then saying schedule yet another appointment and come back. Again, they could not figure out how to get the insurance to cover anything. And then they told me to come back a third time to learn to wear the lens. And that this would cost yet another $45 out of pocket, and another day off of work. At that point I walked away and went to another doctor, who told me that that extra charge is customarily built into the charges. Took care of the exam and fitting in one appointment, and was able to get the insurance to cover the charges. I strongly recommend you avoid this office.

My experience with the Bountiful Hills Eye Center has been fantastic. I have referred many others to both Doctor Michael Wilcox and Doctor Jed Poll. As a result of Doctor Pools surgery I am able to see without the use of reading glasses. He removed some of the tissue from my eye lids and it has made all of the difference in the world. The surgery was very quick and I was able to coach a soccer game in the Summer Games in Southern Utah the same day. I have since spoken with other who have had the same surgery and their experience wasnt very successful. I look younger, can see better and am very pleased with the outcome.

My husband and I had cataract surgery about a year ago with Dr. Wing. It was so successful and painless I still cant believe it! I wore contact lenses for years and as I got older the lenses never felt comfortable. It is such a relief not to worry about the lenses and such a savings for my pocketbook. I had multifocal contact lenses, one for distance and one for near vision and Dr. Wings cataract surgery lenses resulted in the same type of multfocal vision that I had before, which was amazing. We are very happy with the results and all of the technicians that assist are great.

I recently had a five star experience at Bountiful Hills Eye Center. When I woke up one day my eye was red. I didnt think much about it because it didnt hurt Someone told me I should check it out just to be sure, so I did. Turned out I had a partial tear that Dr Wilcox found. He referred me to Dr Alldredge who quickly took care of the problem. All the staff was very professional and friendly. I am a Dentist so a quick response with very little waiting time is very important to me.Thanks again!

Doctors are great but, staff was rude. Her name is Dawn. She parked so closed to my car that my children could not get out for my daugthers appointment. Not only that she then proceeded to argue with me outside trying to start a fight, even though there were lots of parking spots to park at. I just finally moved. Last time I go there ! Too bad because, I really like the doctors. I had been there 7 times before this happened.

My experience with Utah Eye Center was very satisfying. The staff was very professional and yet very friendly, kind, and accommodating. The wait was minimal, and the Optometrist was so thorough, and willing to make sure I understood all that was taking place during the exam. I have been extremely pleased with the Bountiful Hills Eye Center. I had cataracts removed from both eyes. I have never had such clear vision. I was quite nervous about the procedure prior to my surgery date. It was quick, not painful at all, and the results are remarkable. I have seen both Dr. Wing for extremely dry eyes and Dr. Poll regarding a drooping eyelid. Both are knowledgeable, kind, and explain your condition clearly. All assisting personnel, including the ladies in the front, are friendly, pleasant and helpful. I would recommend these doctors and the Bountiful Hills Eye Center.
