Rude staff as others have stated. Not exactly sure of Dr. Moyer personally as I never got past the rude staff on the telephone. I asked to make an appointment with Dr Moyer for my yearly physical as I am new to the Prescott area. Over one week from my original request a staff member of the office called to say that I would have to come in and see a RN for a "checkup" before the Dr. would decide wether or not to see me. When I asked what does a "checkup" consist of the staff on the telephone did not know and could not answer my questions. She then transferred me to a second staff member who preceded to lecture me on the definition of what a RN, provider, medical assistant and a physicians assistant was as I was told any one of these would do my "checkup" I listened patiently and again asked what exactly is a "checkup" and specifically who will be doing this "checkup". I guess a potential new customer is not allowed to ask questions at this office as the person on the telephone not only did not answer my basic questions, but acted flustered as if I was wasting her time and rudely said "I guess this Drs office is not for you" She then hung the telephone up on me while I was in mid sentence. Maybe Dr. Moyer is a nice person, I guess I will never know. What I can tell you though, is that when it comes to ones health I take this issue very seriously and feel Drs and their staff should make every effort to answer any and all questions, not treat you as if you are ignorant and you are wasting their time. Patient beware!

I have been going to Dr Mary Moyer (and also saw Melissa Richey,. FNP-C) for about 3 years now. After no results from 2 other doctors and I moved from Prescott to Prescott Valley anyways, thought it was time for a change of doctors too. I am very lucky I made that change of Doctors as I am diagnosed with and being treated for a couple of very serious conditions. Not only are they both thorough and knowledgeable, they are not afraid to do testing and refer to specialists. The wait time is a lot less than I have experienced over my life at Doctors offices and everyone has been very kind (experienced only 1 person on 1 day a bit short but as a business person, I know we cant all be on our best 100% of the time, the next time the same person was kind and perky. ) I am grateful very grateful to this office as my health is steadily improving thanks to them. Note to the person who complained about being screened to become a patient. I was shocked the first time I experienced that, now, after 3 doctors did the same thing, I know its entirely commonplace. You can research the whys on the internet but the 3 of 3 doctors I had used a screening process before accepting me as a new patient.

After years of having my medication dialed in, I moved to Arizona, and was recommended to go to this practice. As soon as I arrived, My medications were changed. This is inconvenient and is not the best way to help a patient that is looking for a new doctor. Now one year later, I am looking to move again and since my medications are not back to the original dosage, and I am moving it is likely that once I get to the next destination the new doctor will assume that my medication levels are correct, which they are not. When a patient comes in with years of history taking a medication it is not helpful to change it just because you "think" that the level does not sound correct.

VERY RUDE!!! Do Not Go Here!!! I hadnt had a physical for a few years so I called this place since the last time I had one it was here. I was told that I had been put in storage, (way to make me feel like a real person) then I was told that because it had been a few years that I would have to go through a screening. I asked what that meant and was told they would have to look at my chart and decide if they want to take me back. (WTF) They were very rude, impersonal and no longer my doctor.

Encountered a rude condescending person when I called to set her up as a primary care Dr. The person on the phone asked my age before anything else and when I told the her I was 60 she said they couldnt take me as a patient because I was too old and they dont take Medicare, I am only 60, I have never been so insulted in my life as I was my this person and hope when they get to be a bit older they are treated the same to see how it feels!!!!

Terrible!!!!!!! I have never set an appointment with this office. They refused to take me as a patient claiming that I had missed two appointments. They are rude and do not actually care at all. I would not advise anybody to even call this office!!!! Do NOT trust these people with your health!!!!

Havent actually been in to see the Drs yet but just want to put this out there. They prescreen patients. So they ask about your age, medical hx and medication list and then pass it on to the dr and then they will decide if they want you as a patient. Front desk person isnt warm and friendly.

I agree with other reviews that the front office is not very warming or friendly. But the back office is wonderful. I have seen Rhonda and LOVED her. The nursing staff was very friendly and helpful. They are a busy practice but still got me in on time with little to no wait.

Absolutely ridiculous that you have to be "screened" to see a Dr! Waited for quite awhile and never heard anything so going to another Dr. Also front office staff is not very pleasant on the phone at all. Never heard of this in my life!
