I picked this dentist because of all the good reviews online but it must be under new management since I started (and stopped) going. There is a younger receptionist who works here that really is good at her job and breaks down the out of pocket costs before they do any procedure. And then theres Lucy who left me waiting for over an hour because apparently when shes working the sign in sheet is completely ignored and you must tell her that youre there unless you want to get bumped behind everyone who comes in after you. She also wouldnt let me speak with the dentist unless I got a doctors note to HER even though in the past the actual dentist doesnt even require it. My first appointment was spend almost 2 hrs wait time, followed by 10 min of x rays and another hour and half before I saw the dentist. On my second appointment it was again well over an hour wait time followed by three different dentist (or assistants) telling me three different things and then settling on pulling the tooth the appointment was for and not doing the xrays,cleaning, and other procedure theyd talked about. By the time I got to my third appointment here and couldnt even get past the secretary I walked out (not that I could do much else since she wouldnt even let me speak with a dentist). Long story short - Im pretty sure all the positive reviews online are fake and this place is disorganized on all levels and makes western dental look like the worlds quickest dental group.Do not waste your time or money here.

My first visit here after so many years! It wasnt a painful process as I anticipated. Started off with x-rays, the xray tech was so professional, courteous and her smile was contagious. Next, the Dr. Came in and explained all the damage from lack of visits and answered all my concerns. Hygienist arrived shortly and also gave her recommendations and how the process would be completed from start to finish. Lastly, billing, treatment plan was discussed. Usually I arrive anxious and leave worse than I felt coming in but the environment and staff here at Dental Group of Covina, made me feel calm. I recommend DGOC if you are looking for a new dentist or are new to the area. My own personal opinion, the staff was very professional, educated in their field and knew what they were talking about and they made sure I understood what they meant. Did I mention friendly :)

Horrible horrible service!!!! I went once and with an appointment and they told me to leave and come back in an hour because everyone that could do my work was on lunch.... on top of that maxe me feel obligated to get this laser service that i have never even heard of... that i would have to pay $450 out of pocket really?? Then why make an appointment? I made an appointment a second time to give the benefit of the doubt went in 10 minutes before my appointment waited an entire hour and they never once called me!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would!!!! Ive never had such horrible experience with a dentist and I never leave reviews but this was ridiculous

Do NOt go to this place. Yes they are very clear short and to the point. I have medical. I went there because i was missing my tooth and they basically were trying to charge me $300 to fix it and they said i had a root canal all lies! I went to another place in Baldwin park they were more genuine and my insurance did cover the work even though they said it didnt. They didnt care. People becareful. ..this place is expensive and they try to charge you for unnecessary things they even give you all this information to make it seem like they know what they are talking about to get you to do extra work on yourself. Get a second opinion.

I highly recommend going here for any type of dental need. From the first point of contact to to the end of my appointment, I felt so welcomed and comfortable with each person I spoke to. Both the dentist & orthodontist are exceptionally knowledgeable in their fields. Each question I had, they answered with ease. And for someone who hasnt had the greatest experiences going to the dentist in the past, I now look forward to the upcoming work that I will be having done. Thank you Dental Group of Covina for such a great first experience at your office!

I had a wonderful experience today. I was ten minutes early and I only had to wait about 15 minutes before I was seen. The people in the front were nice, the X-ray tech was nice, and the doctor was nice. The prices for my treatment was fair and it seemed as if they were being honest. Finally! Ive had bad experiences in the past with the dentist trying to rip me off. Dr. Bryant is very knowledgeable and very friendly. I highly recommend asking for her.

I have always been hesitant of using a big chain like this because of inflated prices and the assumption that unnecessary procedures are encouraged. Wow was I wrong. I had such an amazing experience, the staff made me feel comfortable when my incident was totally embarrassing. Also the doctor recommended we not do anything harsh and rather allow my tooth to heal on its own! They will continue to monitor of course,and I will definetly be back.

Rude staff. The assistants have hickies on their necks and not to mention they have been discussing their personal business in front of patients. My appointment was at 9:30am and I have been here since 9:10am, they still have not called me in. If there was a way to give this place a negative 3 star rating then I would most definitely give it to them. If you value anything about yourself and your time then this is not the place for you.

This is really the best office Ive gone to. The staff is really caring, from the ladies at the front desk, to the doctors. I have been in terrible pain with one of my teeth and the insurance was taking forever to approve my extraction. The office expedited everything and the doctor pulled my tooth today. She was very sweet. She made sure the whole time I was ok and made sure I wasnt in pain. I highly recommend this office.

The worst dental office ever!!!! Bad SERVICE AND RUDE TO KIDS. THIS ONE DENTAL ASST MADE MY SON CRY. AND MY DAUGHTER WAS GOING TO HAVE SOME WORK DONE THEY GAVE HER THE SHOTS AND LEFT HER WAITING MORE THAN 30 MIN!!!!HE WAS ASSISTANCE A OTHER PATIENT AND LEFT MY DAUGHTER IN HORRIBLE PAIN. I WALK OUT AND NEVER WENT BACK AGAIN. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DOCTORS, AND STAFF!! CARELESS TO THERE CUSTOMERS NEEDS.

Good dentist and lots of associate at the front desk but I been waiting for 45 minute for the dentist to see me. Too many patient waiting.My appointment is at 10am and they are barely calling patients that were waiting when I got here at 9:55. 11am called me in for X-ray. Will see when they call me in.

They are so rude but pretend to be nice. They always charging for stuff u really dont need. There ALWAYS LATE when it comes to the schedule appointments. Theres always people complains in that office. I truly believe There should be an evestagation to this office of practice.

Today i had some major work done having two temporary crowns put in my molars. Dr. John and his assistant was fantastic they took very good care of me making me feel comfortable and at ease. And all the staff were wonderful and friendly. I would highly recommend this place.
