I chose DNVH solely because it was close to my work and my home, and I was in a jam. Completely unexpectedly I took responsibility for a newborn feral kitten that was found abandoned by its mother and severely malnourished. I was so pleasantly surprised by the warmth and care I received when I brought her to Dana Niguel. All of the staff there, from the vet techs to the doctors, offered me a ton of support and assistance to nurse my tiny kitten back to health. They gave me invaluable advice and Im certain saved her life. While my kitty was still only a few weeks old and bottle feeding round the clock, one vet tech even took my kitten to her own home several times when I had to work overnight. They didnt charge me a dime for this, that amazing tech simply volunteered out of the kindness of her heart. Now my beloved Abu is over two years old, happy and healthy as can be, and its thanks to Dana Niguel. All the staff still recognize her, and me, every time I come in, and it almost feels like a little family. No, its not the "cheapest" vet service out there, but in my opinion the level of care they provide is worth every single cent. Who wants "cheap" care anyway when it comes to your pets? Ill always be grateful to DNVH.

We have been taking our dog and cat to DNVH for several years now and have always been very pleased with the care they have received. We have also boarded our dog several times and she has always done well there. Recently I had to bring our 19 year old cat in to have her put down. It was so hard and so sad for me, but it was made much easier by the kindness and sensitivity of Dr. Johnson and Rachel, his vet tech. I was so impressed with their gentleness with our cat and their understanding of what I, as a grieving owner, needed. I will be forever grateful to them. I highly recommend DNVH, they have the everything one looks for in veterinary care, knowledge, skills, kindness/compassion and a genuine love of animals.

We picked DNVH because they were close by our home and when inquiring about pups for adoption 2 YEARS before we chose one, they were very kind. We recently brought in our new lab puppy and have been very pleased. She had a few issues at first and the staff was very helpful over the phone. (Not like some places that say "bring her in" no matter what - in fact, saved us an office visit charge or 2 and thats greatly appreciated). Also, they do not push you to alter your pet at an early age. Instead, supporting our decision to wait awhile. Everyone there is very attentive & friendly and Dr. Johnson is very easy to talk to and is genuinely concerned about our puppy.

We have been patients (well, our dogs have) since 2007 and 2009 respectively when we adopted our each of our two dogs, Chloe and Sully. The staff has been nothing but kind, tenderhearted, and fair. Even though Sully doesnt get along with other dogs, Dana Niguel Vet was totally understanding and helped get him in and out of the patient room with no trouble at all. We highly recommend this establishment in our community.

Ive been taking our pets to DNVH for many years. Ive always felt that they were really interested in the well being of my pets. Ive had to take an older cat to be put down. They handled it with care and concern for both of us. Never felt there was a rush and they treated the situation with respect for my feelings and care for the comfort of the cat. The staff is knowledgeable and loving towards their patients.

You wont find a more caring doctor or a more animal loving staff. The monthly teeth cleaning is very reasonably priced too! We own a Papillon that actually is excited every time she gets out of the car to go there! (Then she balks a bit once inside, but hey, it could be worse!) :)
