I have been going to the Davis office for about 15 years. I have seen the same doctor for a little over 11 years. When I got pregnant the first time ( lost my pregnancy) the doctor was not a happy person with me. He was rude and disrespectful after that. He let his personal oppinion get in the way of his job. *Dr. Sprinkle* I became pregnant again and wanted to see there so called "OB" who is NOT an OB doctor at all. She is a Family doctor that just took a couple of classes and calls herself that. She told me and my other half that she ONLY did group sessions. When I wanted to do a one on one with her through the WHOLE pregnancy. I am a very private person. She told my other half that its no big deal he can miss an hour- an hour in a half a work for this stupid group thingy. He works in Benicia and we live in about 30 minute drive from there then its another 30-35 minutes for him to get to work. I DO NOT THING SO we told her. she became rude and pushy and it is AGAINST HIPPA law to do that. and to call herself a OB when she is NOT. I have spoken to other doctors about this and they told me that I should have called HIPPA about her but it was to late. * Dr. Snodgrass* I had my daughter and took out of the UCDMG there and switched her to a place closer to us. THE BEST CHOICE I EVER MADE! I found a doctor there I really like still at UCDMG! so was putting up with the BS to see her. *Dr. Yang* The supervisors! LOL... they are a joke! Going back to my first pregnancy, they have a supervisor named Milly ( I think that is how you spell her name) I have a heart condition on top of all of this, and I had some complications in the begining and they wanted to hook me up to a heart monitor jacket. and we didnt want to come back to do it they said they would do it that day. so we waited and waited and waited some more. till my mother (who was with me at the time) couldnt take it anymore. she asked what was taking so long and they said they are having a meeting right now. to come back. but they never told us to come back. they told us it would be just a little bit. we FINALLY get somone who IS NOT A SUPERVISOR... to come talk to us. and to put it nicely we tore her a new one. for not explaining themselfs correctly to us. they proceed to tell us that they will be out shortly so we wait and wait ans wait again... another hour has gone by. and so we ask them to pull someone out of the meeting who can ACTUALLY HELP US! so they pull Milly... who is upset because we had her pulled out of her meeting (which come to find out wasnt really a meeting but a gossip group for LUNCH!!! Milly pulls us into a exam room who scolds us for pushing so much. then insults us when it comes to our intelligence about how to work the heart monitor! *Supervisor Milly* I today! Went in with a swollen ankle *with an apt*. I knew I was going t o be late so I tried to call ahead and inform them but no one answered the phone. I sat on hold for over 10 mins. and when we got there it took me just about 10 mins to get up to the second floor (using the elivator). then tell me that I cant be seen till 4:15pm because I was late and did not in form them!!! HELLO ANSWER THE PHONES YOU HAVE A BUNCH OF WOMEN AND MEN THAT SIT ON THE PHONES THERE FOR HOURS BUT NONE OF THEM ANSWER THE PHONES!!! Then we ask to see the supervisor and they send out this eldorly woman who doesnt say really anything to us just sorry you feel that way because we told them that they didnt answer the phone and I am just going somewhere else. *Supervisor Angela* They have changed there service to the patients and THEY ARE RUDE! and do not care about the patients well being. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE!!! You should do the same and not go there! Go to Sutter or the Woodland Health care place next door. JUST NOT THERE! or go to a Sac office they are better there. I go to the Sacramento office for my cardio! They are so nice there. :) and ACTUALLY SMILE AT YOU.

Generally positive experience with doctors; billing department, policies and practices are downright dehumanizing. Watch out for bait-and-switch. Dont take the front desk staffs word for it that a particular visit or procedure may be covered, as you will likely get a bill later, despite the fact that their supposed policy is to bill you for co-pays, deductibles, and services at the time you receive the service. Their practice is to tell you that visits are covered or that there is no charge now, then bill you later and leave you no recourse. If they tell you theres no charge at the front desk, get it in writing!

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NO TO THIS OFFICE. People are so rude and dont like help one in need. Lab is really horrible. Although there is no one scheduled ahead of me they put me on waiting just to tell that walk-ins are allowed only from certain time. I have been fasting since morning and they dont minimum courtesy to tell. They put you on wait. So rude...

Dr. Acevedo spent little time on the diagnosis of what I actually came in for. Instead she spent most of the appointment assessing my mental health and relationship. (Thanks? But I didnt come for a therapy visit.) I was then billed twice for the one appointment.
