We were faithful customers for a few years, never missed an appointment and genuinely liked everyone at the office. It was even nice seeing our names on a whiteboard as we entered the office. "Welcome..." It was welcoming. Dr. Hutchinson was very nice and courteous, and even helpful at first...seemed liked we finally found an eye doctor we really liked. We went in for our normal yearly checkup and everything went well. Dr. Hutchinson recommended us to change contacts, so he said we need to come back in, try out the contacts and see how they work. We went for a followup appointment for the contacts. There was some dryness and we received a sheet of paper on how to address dry eye. We didnt receive any treatment, drops, nothing. Just a sheet of paper telling us what to do. We left thinking all we needed to do was follow the sheet and we would be fine. A few days later, I received a bill in the mail from Dr. Hutchinson. I figured there might have been a mistake, we had no appointment, just a contact lens follow up. So I called up the office. The receptionist was very nice, and even though I had an issue with the billing, she was very respectful and courteous. We couldnt figure out what happened, so she offered to have Dr. Hutchinson call me and try to clear things up. I thought that was great, he is a really great guy, Im sure he can clear things up for me. Boy was I WRONG. I explained my issue with the bill. It seemed that we were being billed for a follow up contact visit. He explained that it was a dry eye issue and therefore a medical issue and it was billed as a medical issue. Apparently, at some point in time our followup turned into a medical appointment. I disagreed and said we came in for the contacts not a dry eye issue. At that point he completely changed and became very rude and argumentative, and that is putting it lightly. I wont go into details, but I just ended the conversation by saying "Im not going to argue with you" Ill pay the bill and ended it. This whole review really isnt about the money. They constantly tried to make us buy stuff from their office and no where else. We declined and there was some pressure to buy stuff, but they never made us buy anything we didnt need. Its a business, I understand, so its not a problem. This is more about how UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE Dr. Anthony Hutchinson was in handling our issue. I have no problem paying for services performed. I dont even mind paying a little more for the personal and courteous service of a professional that is going to give me better service. If you are looking for an eye doctor, please take this review to heart and dont bother coming here. There are a lot more professional and courteous doctors out there.

Often times you can tell a companys culture by how the employees interact with each other and with customers. Everybody I encountered here was happy and helpful. Dr. Hutchinson was awesome and so was the intern that examined my eyes. The selection of frames was extensive and surprisingly affordable. I will definitely continue to go here even though I have moved out of the area.
