The best in ophthalmology work here. I came in without an appointment, 20/50 vision , due to a horrible eye infection and was still treated with the utmost care and importance. I have an awful eye infection that got out of control cuz I went to the wrong people before I came here. Anyway, The front desk girls are friendly as can be. Charlie took me into the exam room after only 10 mins of waiting in the waiting room. I was very upset about my eye infection and he was very understanding. Everyone is great here. Dr vasile came in with her warm smile and her assistant Kathy was so on top of things, promptly took notes down as Dr. Vasile assessed my situation. Very intelligent yet humble doctor. I left with four different eye medications. A week later my eye infection is almost gone and I can almost see normal again!!! I have zero complaints. God bless you all. Thank God I came here. Seriously, I was at my wits end .

I am a patient of doctors Choplin and Bokosky, and a recent patient of Dr. Sanchez. I am having problems making conatct with the Escondido office since April 7. I was told on April 3rd that someone will contact me either on April 6 or 7 with for a special appointment with Dr. Sanchez. Since then, I have been unable to contact anyone to receive any information. Ive been put on hold many times, Ive left call back numbers, sent an email - all to no avail. Anyone from the Escondido office can testify that I am no complainer - however, I do believe this complaint is justified.

The wait time at the office is ridiculous. Last time I was there waited for a half hour and then was told the doctor was running late and wouldnt be there for another hour. Its a joke trying to talk to somebody live and read Dick you list Lee long to try and get them to submit a prescription refill request for my pharmacy. I will never go back to this place again

I was referred to Eye Care of San Diego by my primary physician in January of 2016. By the 3rd of May, I had undergone 2 cataract surgeries performed by Dr. John Bokosky and his wonderful team of assistants. I was treated like royalty at every visit to his office and at both surgeries. I am so happy with my results. Thank you Dr. Bokosky and staff!

Horrible! Twice they have given me wrong prescriptions for glasses. On the 4th visit to correct everything I was told my Doctor was on time. 35 minutes later I left. It turns out , all of the people in the room had been waiting for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. It has cost me a lot of time and especially money. I will see them in Small Claims Court!

Ive been going to Eye Care of San Diego with Dr. Taunton for years now. I tried many other doctors and when others didnt give me much hope and only option was Corneal Transplant Dr. Taunton stepped in and made it possible. Great service, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend this place. I will always be a loyal customer.

try and make an appointment I dare you. they never pick up the phone! when i did finally get an appointment. they cancelled it and i had to go through the whole thing again finally I hung up and found another doctor.

They are ridiculously overpriced and borderline unethical. I paid $752 in September for my first pair. Now its February and I need a new prescription! I can no longer read at night. And they want another $600!

They have a specialist and / or team of specialists for anything that could possibly be affecting/effecting ones eyes. I only needed 2 visits. Now I have better than 20/15 in both eyes.
