This a very friendly and welcoming environment for all your optometry needs. Dr. Stewart is personable and informative. He just doesnt diagnose and prescribe vision correction but he also explains the cause and reason behind vision changes. He is a wealth of knowledge and knows how to put his patients at ease. Nancy and Greg make up the support staff and demonstrate this through their efficient and competent handling of scheduling, billing, and technical support. I strongly recommend Dr. James Stewart Optometry in Fresno.

I have been going to Dr. Stewart for my optometric needs for 10 years since moving to Fresno. His friendly and welcoming office is run well by Nancy and Greg. Yes, there are bigger and maybe even faster optometry offices in town but you will not find a more caring and personable group of people than Dr. Stewart, Nancy and Greg. They really care about me as a person and want to make sure I receive the best care for my eyes.

Worse experience ever. The doctor is deaf, couldnt hear a word I was saying. On top of that he decided to use the whole appointment to try and convince me not to take medications prescribed to me by my doctor because he said "theyre bad". Then he tried giving me reading glasses when the problem is i cant see far away. Long story short I walked out without a script. Dont waste your time vistiting this practice

Staff seems confused and doesnt know whats going on. Dr is an old man who seems senile and talked to me about how he evades his taxes. Wanted to get my prescription so that I could orser contacts online and staff seemed reluctant to give it to me. Ill be calling my insurance to see if I can get another exam covered becuaee I dont think I trust what they did.

1st time at a optometrist office. I had issues with my insurance but Dr. Stewart was still kind enough to test my eyesight , found out I am farsighted.. thanks to him! Will be returning back now that my insurance issue has been resolved. Very intresting man with alot of information, staff is very kind as well!! Happy with the service!! :)

Best exam I had in a long time. My glasses were perfect from the moment I wore them didnt have to adjust to them like every other eye exam. I was always use to dr telling me you just have to adjust to them. Not here thank you mr Stwert

Horrible dr. With very very bad hearing ! Prescribed me with lense that were wayyyyyy to strong, so now my vision is worser than what it was. Would NOT recommend this place to a anyone.
