Dr. Mullen displayed total unprofessionalism during my recent visit. Previous visits were progress check visits and lasted a total of 2 minutes, maximum - that alone was surprising. However, this last visit proved to be a shocker. Apparently, Dr. Mullen does not like patients that take it upon themselves to be informed about their conditions because he perceives any questions or apprehension by the patient as a challenge to his knowledge and control of the situation. Yes, I was apprehensive about the procedure he was about to perform and I voiced it. But instead of reassuring me about his success rate, he simply said he wasnt going to do it and walked out of the exam room. His attitude was arrogant and uncaring. He said he had nothing else to offer. Apparently, patient care is not his number one concern. I will not recommend this podiatrist to any of my friends and will recount my experience to all that are contemplating a visit.

I will admit I was a little nervous about getting a referral to this doctor after I read the other review. I am picky when it comes to choosing medical care/doctors. I booked an appointment and thought Ill see how it goes; if I feel uncomfortable, Ill change doctor. At my first visit, I was impressed. There was nothing to indicate unprofessionalism etc. A few days later, I received a letter welcoming me to Dr Mullens clinic and encouraging me to call if I have any questions. This was a nice touch. In the subsequent visits leading up to my surgery, I was just as impressed as I had been during that first visit. Dr Mullen has many years of experience—evident in his calm manner and expertise when it came time to treat me. Aside from his skill as a doctor, he is a very funny guy. He has a great sense of humour, which puts people at ease. I would definitely recommend him, his staff and his clinic.

This doctor is the most uncaring, unprofessional, and unethical doctor I have ever been associated with. He tried to get rid of me as quickly as possible. Sent me to the emergency room with no help, no followup. When I was discharged and tried to set a follow up appointment he refused to see me. He simply didnt want to deal with my case and pawned me off as quickly as possible.
