I had a great first time experience! My appointment was at 12:15, and I was seen at 12:45. They were running a little behind, but the very efficient staff kept me up to date leaving no question in my mind. Many of us know this simply doesnt happen in most all doctors offices. Glaucoma runs in my family, so the doctor coupled with their state of the art equipment made me feel very comfortable with their diagnosis. The doctor was very knowledgeable, and courteous. After my exam I had no idea what frames I wanted, the knowledgeable staff helped narrow down from their large selection of frames the best fit for my sporting type lifestyle. The doctor and her staff fit me with two sets, one for my computer work, and one set for distance and sports leaving no question as to quality, fit, or price. From start to finish, the office was run like the best restaurant youve ever been to. -Mark N.-

The worst experience with a business ever. Employees were rude, owner was rude, after months of waiting no concern shown for situation, no one returns calls, no one calls to let you know what is up. Told I could get readers I need to buy while I wait and wait and wait paid for by them if I "went to the dollar store"!! This was by the owner, Tanya! Glasses were wrong prescription, the worst....never ever go there. I will NOT return if I ever get my glasses! BTW they only post positive reviews on their other site, I have tried to post a negative review and it will not come up.

I have been coming here for 8 years. Last week I called to make an appointment and update my phone number. I went in for my appointment and was told that I had to be wrong. She did not apologize for the trouble just told me I was wrong and she reschedule. When I went to reschedule and asked what phone number they had it was the updated phone number. When I explained this to the women she looked at me like I was stupid and said I dont know what to tell you. Needless to say I will not be going back.

As a medi-cal patient I felt they treated me as a germ in their office. Where people get fitted, I had to sit in the hallway for a fitting and while I looked for a pair a frames they watched as if I was going to steal some. They never called for a pick up, I called three weeks later and they were ready... when I picked them up they took me to the hallway desk for fitting when there was a empty fitting desk out front. They schedule medi cal patients differently too. Snooty business!

when i got there, on time for my appt, i asked if the dr was running late, the lady said maybe 5 minutes late, so i waited and waited and waited and after an hour and I finally told them i had to go. i didnt even get an apology or reschedule or anything. they said Oh the dr got held up with his last patient, Gee thanks for telling me so i didnt waste my time . I wasted my entire lunch break sitting in their office.

Ive always had excellent eye exams at Grass Valley Eye Care during since using their office since 2004. The most recent was no exception. Even though the office was behind schedule and I was the last person of the day, I did not feel rushed, and the optometrist took extra time to explore the most recent changes to my eyesight.

Great optometry office. I have been a patient of Dr. Markis-Meyer for many years. She and her staff always make sure I have what I need when it comes to my glasses and contacts. She does a very thorough eye exam and explains everything. I come all the way from Roseville and it is well worth the trip.

I have been going there for several years. The staff is great and Dr Markis-Meyer is extremely knowlegeable and professional. Its a small office, but it has everything I need. I would highly recommend them.

Not happy!! Just wasted 20 minutes out of a busy day, to learn that the hours shown do not mention the business being closed until 2:30 for lunch!! Ill be exploring other options for my eye care and glasses.
