Upon finding out that I needed two root canals side by side, I was not happy. I have a fear of dentists that goes way back to when I was a kid. My husband didnt help by telling me it was the worst experience of his life, and they had to sedate him. He also said he face was swollen and he couldnt eat for days after his procedure. Well, I can tell you for a fact that Dr. Young did not hurt me one bit. He and his staff made me very comfortable and told me exactly what they were doing the entire time. After 2 root canals, I had zero pain, minimal numbness, and drove home and ate lunch. My husband was shocked!! I also think he was jealous. I didnt even take a Tylenol. He actually asked if I was sure I had 2 root canals done.

always wonderful to feel warmly welcomed when entering a dental office, and that I was at Dr Youngs. I came in with a root canal that was in need of attention: the root system somehow a bit complex thus an ugly infected cyst had formed. Dr Young carefully reviewed the situation and in a very short time, with extreme gentleness and skill, put everything right, keeping me informed of each step along the way, the sensations I might feel, the sounds I would hear. His assistant Monica was wonderful efficient , as was every in the office. A dental experience as sweet as one could be. its difficult to rate a root canal procedure as being five stars. but considering the circumstances that lead me to doctor young i stand behind that. hes extremely thorough, has a good bedside manner and explains everything in as much detail as you would like. the most difficult part is keeping your mouth open for the better part of 1.5 hours. there is no pain to speak of, just some novocaine needle pricks. a bonus is the capability and pleasant nature of his assistant.

I have a lifetime of dental problems and treatment. Dr. Young has provided me with excellent care. He has done my last several rootcanals when the tooth could be saved and a rootcanal was needed. He has never done unnecessary treatment. He is honest, fast, and painless. The staff are friendly and professional.
